Why are there no Koenigseggs in gt5?

I don't think it was a licensing issue, most likely they just didn't put them in.

Maybe they have never heard of them, or couldn't get one to digitalize (or whatever the word is) the interior and exterior and stuff.

I would love to see Koenisseg in GT5 as well as some of the other smaller super car companies

It's likely the same reason why Lamborghini and Ferrari were left out for such a long time. Not to mention it would be rather hard for them to get a car to digitalize the interior (though they could avoid this by making it a standard car).

I really don't think Kaz didn't put Koenigseggs in his game while he knew he could... And of course he knows Koenigsegg, i mean, which car enthusiast have never heard of the swedish dream car maker!

I think about a licencing issue or maybe too much restrictions imposed by the supercar maker like "never put a koenigsegg against a civic" or something...

That wasn't a GT5 rendition. It was another person who rendered it. Had nothing to do with gt5. It's also way more detailed than any other premium in the game.

They managed to achieve a much higher level of detail than PD with the same number of polygons. 👍

Could be to do with balancing issues? The Koenigsegg would just be another veyron... although having more than one 250mph+ car in the game would make the veyron a poor option since it handles like a bar of soap on ice.

This seems right. The same case could be made for Noble (which actually makes a car that handles) or any other number of boutique manufacturers. They're getting to be a dime a dozen anyway...
