Why arent I getting 200x bonus anymore!!!

It's a log in bonus for consecutive days. If you have been playing everyday then I wouldn't know.

I was getting the 200x bonus today but its like it disappeared in the middle of a race. And it doesn't show any amount of bonus in the top right after I collect the cash and experience.

Wrong. If you don't log in for 6 or 7 straight days you go back to square one. Missing 1 day will put you at 170%. This is set up identically to the museum cards and paint chips.

I've missed a day without getting online in GT5 and still had 200% the following day. Weird.

well I had this too, and so I checked today, I got 200% today and yesterday I must haved 170%, I did the online Ferrari Le Mans and didnt got the Percentage bonus yesterday... I will try again right now...

EDIT: I tried Bspec and got 200% again, it seems there was a temp bug or something like a service of the percentages not running on PDs server, I think its over now.

I don't know but what I do know is that strange things have been happening since Spec II. I downloaded the new intro and it didn't get activated for two weeks. dd;

There are 2 systems that must work perfectly with your connection to keep the 200% bonus for every race.
1 is PSN.
if this signs out bye bye bonus. Stop what your doing instantly and quit GT5 via XMB, then relaunch GT5. do not resign in with out shutting down as your bonus will be gone till 12am.
2 is the connection to GT5 servers.
This runs buy its self. It runs in the background with out you knowing. If this times out, disconnects, errors. It will not tell you. Untill now.
The loss of Bonus means it did just that.

Load GT5 after 12am the next day you can get your new bonus value back.

Wrong mate, you just have to log in once a day to keep the bonus not stay logged in. I was doing a 24hr La Sarthe with my Bob's & disconnected my modem
while the race was running. I re-connected when the race was over & got my consecutive log in bonus as usual

Sorry mate, I'm talking bout getting the bonus from a race to, I logged out & got the bonus when the race was over even though it had gone on to the next day. I logged back in & continued to get the same bonus after each subsequent race.

One other thing to consider if you suspend a race (I found this out the hard way). If you are in suspend for more than 1 day, you DO NOT get credit for a login. I was in suspend over 2 days while doing the Grand Valley 300 and dropped back to 170%. It's kind of nonsense since I still played that day, but because it bypasses the main screen to go straight to the race, no credit.

No you lost your top credit bonus because of point 2.
Your connection to GT5 servers when you restarted a suspended race must complete.
It did not you dropped the bonus for the next race. because of a connection failure to GT5 servers. Do not worry you are not alone lots of users can't keep there bonus up even if they login every day ether.

I have a hard time believing that I only drop connections when I suspend races. That is the only time I have the issue.

It more likely a glitch in the game that needs patching or a problem with their servers. It seems to be related to if your connection to PD's server is severed after logging in each day.
Don't no why they felt the need to tie this to their servers after you meet the 5 consecutive days requirement. When they state on their web:

New Consecutive Login Bonus
When a user logs in consistently every day, a bonus will now be applied to experience and race rewards.
It will increase to 110% the 1st day, 130% the 2nd day, 150% the 3rd day, 170% the 4th day, to a maximum of 200% on the 5th day. This will apply to all events both online and offline, so logging in every day will help you progress through the game much faster...

So every day you login for the 1st time you get the %200 as long as you don't loose a connection to PD's servers. They should have made it so that your console stores that info permanently after the 5 consecutive days are met. But if we lived in a perfect world we would still be complaining about everybody else's perfect world screwing up ours.

same thing happened to me since v2.01 update ive lost all bonus's, doesnot even say 110% just normal prize money and xp. sad face...
