Once again I show my ignorance, but that's okay - I am among friends.
I'm sure someone will be able to tell me why the B-Spec drivers are referred to as "BOBS". It's amusing.
[I have found myself unable to refer to them by "BOB" however, I call mine: KITTY - for Kitty O'Neal the record setting rocket car driver (she had a movie made about her career), LYNN - for Lynn St.James, no stranger to speed, JANET - for Janet Guthrie, and SHIRLEY - for none other than the hotshoe Shirley Muldowney (who was also the subject of the movie "HEART LIKE A WHEEL"), and then, of course, there is RECKLESS . . . that one is named for my wife.]
