Is it something to do with licencing?
i have the same question but i think is because the ps3 can handle more! i'm sure that in gt7 on ps4 they will have the same engine in online! i've set up my veyron for wheelies but the other players always see u with 4 wheels in the road :-( lets hope...

if you roll offline to get back on wheel you do like in GTA. .....

why cant they impliment that online ? and lets say we did stay on the roof ... that would be even better... more damage to mmecanic and gearbox and real accidents... seriously i hate racing people that drive like there is absolutly no danger. they have no clue of what driving means.

id love to see a lobby where you can roll and stay there. its what makes people brake and drive cleaner... the more 'danger' the better the game .. ( IE : race driver grid ..... )

and why cant ps handle it ? shift1 and 2 rolled them easy ; Grid did too ; and so many others.
oh and the Xbox ... in Forza4.. they not only roll cars but they also geat uterly destroyed..... at least give people the choice to activate 'danger' mode or not ; it feels stupid when you grind the car over 500yards on 2 wheels ... but hell GT ... the real driving simulator ...

If you roll, have it the same way as offline where it puts you back on track after a while. I think it might be something to do with manufactuers not liking it maybe, same way as full damage where they don't want to see their cars smashed, maybe they don't want to see them rolled :s idk but then again nothing's stopping people driving in reverse ramming everyone so I'm not too sure on that.

Maybe it's a physics issue, if you can't roll cars I'm guessing some handling physics is possibly affected in some way, it's weird when the car would have rolled and just stays on 1 side skimming the road with 2 wheels (still being able to sort of control it).

I think it would add a lot of fun seeing people roll cars online, would also make it more challenging and realistic (if you can even call it that when some cars flip at 20mph) but I'm into that sort of thing. Same with car parts flying about and staying on track would be good but will never happen on this game :(

i dont beleive at all manufacturers have an issue with crashes... Mr Pagani actually talks about one of his clients that crashed at 200mph...ad lived because that zonda had a great build. ( happend on the italian highway close the pagani factory )

and it seems GT is the only game with this issue.. every single other franchise destroys cars like they want. i think it just a short cut to the publishing of the game and they never took the time to add it and it stayed like that since.
