Why did my game progress drop from 100% to 99%?

I noticed a few days ago that my game progress dropped from 100 to 99. I checked all the special events and they were all complete to gold and so was the career mode.

Okay, the most important thing to remember here is that you are missing something - GT6 is not bugged in this regard. So, let's keep that in mind.

Firstly, when did you reach 100%? Was it ages and ages ago before an update or more recently? If it's more recent we can ignore the possibility that the game has had something added that you've missed.

Secondly, have you repeated any races in career mode since you reached 100%? I'd guess that you have and, on at least one occasion, you've not won that race or series - though it'll still be showing a gold trophy and all the stars (pay no attention to the post below). If this is the case, go back and win it again - GT6 is bugged in this regard

Maybe you may have finished the race in 2nd or 3rd place which makes the stars incomplete.

I had 100% for a couple of months. I remember completing the most recent Sierra challenges. I HAVE done some career races and might have came less than 1st in one of them, but didn't consider that I would have to win it again to have 100%. Thanks.
