hey dudes... I dont know if im the only one getting a little tired of this feature.. But i use the DFGT and everytime i exit or enter gt5 it keeps spinning... (calibrating)... and this is making my pretty mad.. Specially here 5 minutes ago when i exitted GT5. I was just leaning my head on the wheel because im tired. And 2 seconds after leaning my head on it, it just starts spinning... AAAARRHHHRHGGG...

 I do this all of the time. Anyway I believe it does this because GT5 uses a different calibration setting (or something of that nature) than the PS3 itself (i.e. when the wheel spins when it is plugged into the system).

This isnt a joke thread? Wow.

The wheel calibrates for every game...not just GT5. If your so tired you need to put your head on it...go take a nap and stop playing a video game.

People can find the smallest thing to complain about I guess...

heres how it calibrates:

turn on ps3: calibrate
start up gt5: calibrate
exit gt5: calibrate
turn off ps3: calibrate

this is assuming that GT5 loads correctly, and doesnt freeze up or something. in that case, add another 2 calibrations.

Actually if your turning off the ps3 from the xmb then it doesn't callibrate.

I just don't plug the power in until GT5 is started, and then I usually unplug it before leaving. Then you only have one calibration per game session.

Yep this is what I do, except I added a on off switch to my wheel (its just a little adapter with a switch on it) so I dont have to yank the plug out I just flick a switch, I have to say its kept me from getting annoyed about this.

The switch also lights up so i know when the wheel is on, which is nice.

This, even then, the wheel's calibration motion is so far down my list of things to nitpick about.
