Normally, I'm not the type to nit-pick on small stuff, but I use photomode a lot and this is beginning to erk me, especially with the cars that have turn signals that are totally independent from the brake lights(i.e.: Ferrari California).

Can this be patched?

Really? I did not know that.

I live in Houston,TX, I see near wrecks everyday and have never seen that. Im going to have to look into that.

In the strange place called Europe, we have got on a cars rear: Brake lights. The 'Americanised "Third" brake light [usually in a window] and as you lot use red for turn signals, we get cars with two brake lights on each side. We use a totally separate light for indicators, they are Orange, so any car with multiple lights coming on, can be checked if its a glitch [if its premium]. Use the cockpit view! If you're on the right, it is Brittish, if the left, then it is either European Mainland or american, so wether or not you get too many brake lights coming on, it is the correct number, because one regionalised version of this car WILL do this...

Euhmm, tweetman, you're right until the glitch part.

They are separated but yes with hard braking it's a function on alot of brands these days...
We have alot of traffic jams (especially Belgium) and sometimes it requires very heavy braking after a sharp corner, and we have the reaction to immediately put the hazards on. To let the ones behind us know to brake early...
Since mercedes duck into that alot of cars do it automatically through the hazards when you brake hard.
You've gotta love mercedes gadgets research!

Hm I didn't know it was a feature on some cars. But I know I'll always put the hazards on for 5-10 secs when I see there's a traffic jam coming, just to warn the people behind.

as stated above, i believe it's a feature on some European cars. some BMW's may have that.

BMW's don't have this nonsence fortunately. BMW only was first who used deceleration-depending active rear brake lights. This nonsence is used in many french cars and with style I usually drive the car seems to be using hazzard lights everytime I brake into corner.

Learn to brake then. You sound like a bus driver.

if you watch the long ending movie where the cam car is driving round the motorways of japan theres a car in front that brakes hard an hazards come on

I've noticed this happen in race too. Some cars, the turn signals are the only ones that light up under braking.
