I enjoy hybrids for the fact that I can noe make the cars that I have seen in real life in the game. All realistic power.

Stock wings being removed unpaintable cars being painted HOW!?
We can't really discuss this on GTP, but it's actually just simple hex editing of your gamesave. Change one certain number and you'll have no wing on your car, easy.

Can you say that?

Yeah, look its not as if this were anything new. I'm not really telling how to actually do it, I'm just showing him whats possible and how easy, thus achievable for quite many people, it is.

It's good to know how to spot modded cars, although some modifications are nearly impossible to discover if done right.

Edit: Changing one value sounds obvious, if the game save just wouldn't contain millions of numbers... ;)

My favorite creations so far are a Z06 V8 swapped '89 Miata with 450hp. Has just the right amount of power.

+1 on this. I had the pleasure of tuning a "monster miata". They are very popular as a modern version of the Shelby Cobra. Actually, Stacey David built one on his show Gearz only with a 5.0 mustang engine.

I've finally managed to get my hands on a 1000bhp GT-R

like I had in GT4!

That's why I enjoy Hybrids well, realistic Hybrids :) cars that you should've had the options to make in GT5 like you had in GT4!

A company in the early 90's built them, and called them "monster maita's"! Hence the name! Also other companies make bolt in kits. All Stacey David did was copy them and put it on T.V..:indiff:

On topic: These are the ideas I like behind Hybrid cars, engine swaps and chassis swaps.:D

Ok I swear I'm using the darn edit button!!!! Sorry for the double post...

👍 Agree.

But sadly everyone here is enjoying the hybrid scene while I'm stuck with a broken PS3. :(

I'd like to do a 1000 hp R34 with Blitz BNR34 engine when I get my ps3 fix. :)

Also another idea is to make the Amuse S2000 non turbo and 6 speed.

If I were able to hybrid cars(Mac User) it would be to change livery colors on race cars - remove some wings - paint stock wheels

I have a CRX with a K20 engine swap and 400hp and a AE86 Trueno with a rotary engine swap both are fun to drive.

Epic driving !

I'm finally able to have a shifter kart with hybriding, I have many different power levels and engines all with 6 speed fully customizable transmissions. 600hp v8, gsxr swapped 125 with 170hp, stock hp, 50 hp, and the crazy 4wd 3,300 hp 400+ mph kart.

So many possibilities, you can literally make any car you want (to an extent) and I love it..

Twin turboing cars, etc.. It's so fun.

That's where it starts to become stupid.

Anyway, I like hybrids (REALISTIC ONES) because you can recreate cars that are real (Undergroung Racing Gallardo, Alpha GT-R).

The newest hack i have seen is a Fiat 500 with wheels not connected to it and an upgraded Red Bull engine.
