This happens to me with almost all my cars. I have 3 Nissan Silvia S13, 4 Nissan Silvia S15 (RM) and 2 Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR with all same setup ( same setup for each manufactor ).

Example : My Viper's 1st had 1014 HP. I have almost NEVER driven them, but use them sometimes online. Now one of the Viper's I have used has got 1018 HP, while my other Viper sticks on 1014 HP. They have exact same settings AND BODY KIT ( and other rims )!. This also happens on my Nissan Silvia S13, S15 and many more cars.

Same wit the Nissan Silvia S13 ( only difference is color, but they just keep rising when I have a look the next day. )
401 HP
403 HP
404 HP

How come ?

Of course this is good for me, but I just want to know how this happens.

Engine break-in.

A car with some mileage has more power (+3%) than the same car with little to no mileage (<200 mi).

Break-in and change oil, also whenever you buy a car from the used car dealership be sure to change the oil if the car has mileage on it, almost everytime you get more hp.

Engine break-in = piston rings seating within the cylinder reducing blow by and in turn increasing horsepower :D

I didn't want to make a new thread for one question, so this thread seems appropiate.

If you do the engine overhaul, does the car have exactly the same power/torque as a 0km car?

Or do you have to do an oil change as well?

Thanks.

An oil change is not needed when you do an engine overhault. I think cars with not to much miles will have more HP.

Thanks Duman079

I asked about the oil change because I remember someone on another thread saying that he gets more power even when the car is 0km. Even though it is a game, that doesn't make sense because a new or overhauled engine is going to have new oil in it.

Well in real some Oil s DO increase your HP.

It also increases your HP when your car has zero miles ( GT5 and real ) .
