Hi,
I have been racing the seasonal event that requirers a car with 430 PP or less. I have been using a Focus St with 428. I changed out transmissions....etc so I could adjust ratios and tune. After tuning, my PP remained at 428.
I raced some more trying to get all gold in the events. I was not able to, so i thought washing and changing the oil might give me a little more speed. I also messed around with different wheels and tried to see if I could add some aero gear. The wings put me over the PP limit, so I removed them.
When I tried going back to the event, my car was no longer eligible....435 PP. The only changes were the oil change/wash and wheels. I went back to default wheels, but it did not change the PP.
I ended up powering down the engine to 430. I raced a little more, left the seasonals, but when I came back, my PP had changed again to 431 without any changes?!?
Does anyone know why this happens? I have to keep dialing down the engine in order to be eligible.
Would making adjustments to gearing and braking...etc change the PP of a car? Purchasing and installing adjustable equipment doesn't change the cars PP like a different exhaust would.
Weird. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
