Why does one of My Vipers have less horsepower?

I have 2 Vipers and the only difference between them is that on is gold chrome and one is silver chrome. The Silver chrome one has 1030hp while the gold chrome one has 1001hp. I've done the break-in but that only put me up 1hp.

After driving the gold chrome one long enough the engine obviously breaks down, so in the end, even the engine overhaul doesn't restore it to it's original state. Drive it for maybe 30-50 miles and it will be par with the silver chrome Viper.

Works for any car, as far as I know.
