200SX - Name given to the 180SX in Europe and North America.
Isn't it only in Europe? In North America, like you said earlier in that post, is called the 240sx.
The 180sx isn't called the 200sx in Europe, it's called the 180sx hence the 1.8.

If you have more questions just ask. :)

Then what is the 200sx? Straight off wikipedia, the 200sx is what it's called in Europe...

Also, which ones came with a wing stock?

Do read everything from wiki, when you done read about them. You need to know everything about them now.

There is also an other variation called the onevia (1+silvia=onevia)

Actually that's a 240sx Coupe, Onevia is a made up term.

The US have the 240sx because they have a KA24DE(T) which is where the 240 comes from. In Japan and a Europe, we have the 180sx with a CA18de(t) hence the 180 and the 200sx with an SR20det hence the 200.

The kouki version comes with the wing stock (see OP picture)

Well done have a sticker, hence why I said 'variation' not 'model'. And it may well be a 200sx as you cant see the driver side.

Sand in your genitals?
Anyways, they never sold a turbo KA. And that is for sure a 240 coupe, it has North American license plates and It's LHD.

They do get a bit chafey this time of year, yes. No nissan never sold the 240 with a turbo which is why I put the T in brackets because half 240's have bolt on's anyway.

The only car sold in Europe was the 200sx and it had the 1.8 ca engine
In Japan it was the 180sx with the 2.0 sr engine
In America, the 240sx with the 2.4 ka engine
The american 200sx was a total different car, it wasn't even rwd

 I was going to make a thread about this subject the other day as been bugging me for a while that they use the 180sx Type X body model and spec for each variation of the 180sx /200sx /240sx s13 body's. The only model that is correct is the Japanese spec 180sx type X pictured below

The EU version 200sx should look like this with the ca18det (1.8L turbo ) engine as the s13 200sx was never sold with a sr20det in the UK only the s14 UK models got that and Japanese imported 180sx's

As for the 240sx well I not being american I dont know its exact body shape so I wont post a picture of that incase its wrong but the game version still comes with the wrong engine, all veriations get the 1998cc sr20det engine when the EU model should have a ca18det and the US model getting the ka24de (2.4L Non Turbo).

This S13 isn't an original kouki 180sx it's a replica kit. Is the type x kit the american version/name for the kouki model?

Im pretty sure it is an original Japanese 180sx Type X model imported to the UK

^ From my friends blog i've seen the car in the flesh it looks amazing, but I havnt seen the import papers it could be a UK spec 200sx s13 with a SR20DET engine swaped in and Kouki kit bolted on. But from my understanding it's the real deal. Not saying you're wrong, just are you able to prove it is a replica kit? If you can the please corect me as I dont want to spouting off incorect knowledge.

You don't need the papers - you can check on the DVLA. They say:

Date of Liability 01 10 2012
Date of First Registration 11 02 2009
Year of Manufacture 1996

Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1998cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status SORN Not Due
Vehicle Colour WHITE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available

That is, it's a 1996 car, first registered in the UK in 2009. That's got import written all over it.

Currently off the road though.

Thanks for that I wasn't awear you could do that, so I am correct in saying thats a genuine 180sx type X as I orignaly thought.

Where abouts are you in the UK? I live near him as well, small world.
I remember him saying it's a replica kit because he didn't want to pay full wack for a genuine one.
And Famine - thats odd about the car being registered off the road, it was at a meet only a few weeks back.

Edit - What is a type x then? Is it a model or type of kit. I never really questioned it.

According to GT2, the Type X was the one with the spoiler and the Type S was the one without it. Whether that is accurate or not, I don't know.

Weeeeeell, there's nothing to say it didn't have a kit applied to it, just that it is a JDM-tyte-y0! car originally.

Set as SORNed sometime during the month of October 2011. So presumably it's a summer car or pulled around various shows.

Interesting you say he got a replica kit but it still being a genuine import.
I guess it could've been a Type S orginaly and then Kitted with the Type X styling and engine swaped for the full SR20DET.

From my Understanding the Type X is the top model all bell's and whistle's while the Type S is a more understated car looks wise and only gets the SR20DE (non turbo engine)

I've owned a few of these in real life and in GT5 they used the kouki Japanese type x model that never came out anywhere but Japan and pretty much changed nothing about it only the name. Even the SR20DET never came in this car in the Euro s13 200sx or US s13 240sx, that kit and tail lights was Japan only too.
Type S was the non turbo in Japan and I've seen them with the full body kit so, I think it was an optional extra because I've seen type x with no kit too. I waited months to find a Kouki type x with the full body kit 5 years ago. But you never know as it's an old car so kits could have been knocked off of type x or put on type s. I think only someone who lived in Japan when the 180sx type x came out, could say for sure weather the type x always came with the full body kit.

Yeah he took it to Awsomefest in the summer which is a drift event (car isn't just for show) and he didn't use it much after that so that would make sence.
Any who, back on topic...
