Why everyone prohibits NOS

I am asking this because it really wonders me. NOS is a part of street tuned cars and I don't really see the problem the obviously everyone has. I personally haven't seen a single clean racing room with NOS allowed.

If it is allowed, everyone has the right to install it and use it.

There is a lot of very consistent races with very little differences in cars so the race looks a bit boring when you're looking at it. It would make races better in my opinion.

I remember back in GT5 time many many people complained that PD cut out NOS from GT4 and now when we have it, you're not gonna use it people? That's stupid IMO.

Does anyone share my opinion here?
That's why there clean. nos is not apart of circuit racing and most have the common sense to know if you allow nos in a room it will attract the dirty racers and the one's who already have a hard time controlling there cars.

True..

NOS gives a big acceleration boost, especially when leveling out from corners. I guess they say it's an unfair advantage

"This is not 'Nam, there are rules" You said it, "clean racing" by that definition you are following rules. There are no sanctioned races that use NOS aside from drag races. In real life it is a novelty for idiots. Whenever I see someone running NOS (real life) I say a prayer that they don't take anyone out of this world with them should anything go wrong, and that they blow their motor before they kill themselves so they can understand how dumb it was to invest in.

Possibly because people insist on calling it "NOS" and trying to pronounce that. Unless Nitrous Oxide Systems has a deal with PD, then it is not necessarily NOS (which is a trademark). (and spoken Enn Oh Ess, btw, and from any other company, it's called nitrous)

Other than that, I think it's cost makes people not install it, so they forget about it, then when hosting a room don't want to bother trying to tune it, so just turn it off. (it's off by default, IIRC, easy to overlook if you don't personally use it and are hosting)
