Hi everyone,

I'm currently going bSpec mode and I have one driver who is level 18 I Believe. However I have noticed I am able to have up to 4 drivers i think in my bspec mode. Why would i want to train up more drivers? surely it is better for me to spend all the time in bspec mode leveling up just my one driver?

Are there events later on where i need more than one driver?

Thanks

Also when you get up to the higher level B Spec (eg Endurance) you can put a lvl 0 Bob in and get him to lvl 25 odd in one race. I have 6 drivers now. My main driver is level 35with 190 races done and my lowest level driver is level 31 with 10 races done.

When I did B spec, Level 22 required me to have 2 drivers minimum for 2 of the 3 races at that level. It was a requirement for the race, wait until you get to there and see if it's the same (might have changed after the last update 1.05 - I don't know).

I entered a level 0 Bob in the Suzuka race last night alone and he came out level 27.

On my main account I am level 35 B-Spec 4 drivers are level 33 and the other 2 are level 32.

On my second account I am Level 30 and my drivers are all level 27-28 now.

WOW!! level 0 > 27 in one race! Thats impressive. How long is the Suzuka race? I havn't unlocked endurance yet so don't know what is in there for bSpec mode.

It is 172 laps. Takes quite a while depending on the weather and the car used. In A-Spec on a nice day in the X1 it takes abotu 4 hours. Bob takes a bit longer and if it is raining a bit longer still. I just started him on it before I went to bed last night and he was done when I got up.

I'm curious, when you graduate your 0 lvl Bob to 27, does his experience bar raise as well? How about his strength and speed meters? It's interesting because, in the early races, as everybody knows, the new Bobs are utterly inept. Even if they're designated as "red", they mess up; if they're "blue", they don't know how to win. So, for me, I first chose a middle-of-the-road Bob, gave him a better car and nursed him through the early races. When I got a second Bob, I chose one who was a lot hotter. At that point I started to think that one Bob type might be better for a certain race than another. I.e., for a sprint race --like Tsukuba-- I wanted a Bob that would get out fast. For an enduro, though, a steadier Bob would be enough.

Currently there doesn't seem to be any advantage, however. Obviously, from the early experiences, almost everyone gives their Bob an overwhelming advantage over his competition. So, in one sense, there is very little advantage to making Bob race equally. Well, I don't really believe that. In fact, nursing Bob around has helped me, even if it's just a matter of learning tracks. It has also given me a chance to see a lot of mistakes, better lines, brake points, etc.

Right now, I have 5 Bobs with different personalities. I might get rid of one because he serves no advantage. All races are open to Bobs of any lvl. I wonder, in fact, why Bobs can participate in races above their lvl when I can't in A-spec.

^ Ya all of that.

Plus when Bob is in a bad mood (orange arrow) you can sub somebody else in that is feeling better.

on account of that, I wouldn't let my Bob drive if his mood is orange... He do weird things on the track... Like spin out a Veyron and then sit in the grass till the whole field lapped him twice, before re-entering the race :dunce:

But sometimes he gets pissed because you haven't been letting him drive enough. He brightens up after you let him drive.

What's the consensus on the optimum number of Bobs? I've got 4 now, but I wonder if I need any more.

Don't forget that they don't last forever. I don't know the exact time frame, but eventually they will get "old" and start doing poorly because of age. Then you have to retire them. It will be good to have a lot younger Bob (or a few of them) in the mix at all times who is also well trained in that instance.

And where exactly did you get this information?

Is there a visual indicator for when they start losing effectiveness, like one of the bars? Or do you just have to notice they are driving worse? Has anybody worn out a Bob yet?

The Best single level up i've heard/read so far is the 24HR Nurburgring Endurance Race , Level 0 to 36.5 in that One Event

I bet Bob was a bit knackered after that

bob gets tired too fast i think. sooo its a good idea to have more than one bob.

💡 make evil clones that kill opponents and then switch to nice bob :dopey:
