Why have my practise lap times been erased?

I tend to take my tuned cars to a few practice laps on cote d'azur to compare with previous cars, but when I did it today with my pumped up Lotus Carlton (yes, yes), all my previous lap times were gone.

I know I havent deleted them myself, so what has caused them to disappear?

It is one of the recent patches screwing with me? Or just the game having yet another annoying bug that hasn't been fixed?

Now one of the few things I had left that was "just for fun" and not about collecting cars is gone. What a load of rubbish.
 
Have you done that permanent borrow glitch? Thats the only time mine have ever got erased.
 
No, haven't gone that far, although I do have to admit I'm backing up my saves in order to get the most out of my tickets.
 
Then it must be the update, unless once you hit a certain amount of lap times saved it clears the list?
 
I think the top ten times are listed, but I haven't done more than about 20, so it would be silly if that should erase the list.

Thinking about it, many of my thumbnails were also erased recently, maybe that is related?
