Why I cannot use some cars anymore?

When I go to my garage to choose a car, some of them donot have the preview picture and cannot be choose anymore, and if i choose to create the preview picture for them, it just kick me back to the GT mode main menu automatically. I tried to delete all the game data and reinstall the whole game and whole updates but it still have the same problem, can anyone Help me!!!
 
Then im clueless , you could try going into the opions and down at the bottom somewhere theres buttons that say recover files try that then if that does nothing then do the delete files which will uninstall the game if it isnt already.
 
Go to the car, press triangle to open the sub menu, click restore thumbnail.

If you have them set online, you cannot use them until you take them off share.
 
I have the same problem (car thumbnails disappearing) but i believe it is because I shuttle my save file on a USB drive between 2 PS3's (1 fat in the family room and 1 slim in my office).

I also using the save date from my old ps3 through a usb device, so it really sucks, i really hope this can be fixed
