I`ve just trashed my controller (lucky it didn`t break the tv) & snapped my disk in total rage, because Bob is a total retard!:mad::mad:

I`ve just done the Bspec seasonal at Spa with my level 36 Bob in the Toms Supra again & came 7th!!!

I`ve done it again with the same car & Bob because the 1st time I ran it (around christmas), he was winning easily on slicks, but I screwed up the pit strategy (didn`t pit at all) so he got caught & passed on the last lap & just managed to hold 3rd.

This time, starting on inters, he got up to 5th by lap 3, then got stuck behind 4th place for 2 laps, all the time with me mashing the speed up button, then he suddenly wakes up again & gets up to 3rd, then pits on lap 8 with everyone else (another error on my part, as I wanted to go a lap longer, but hit speed up again to get him to pass for 2nd on the run up to the bus stop, then noticed the yellow pit icon was illuminated, so couldn`t cancel the pit stop in time :( ), everyone changed to slicks, he came out in 3rd again, but something had happened in the pits, as it was like he was a level 0-10 Bob, as after mashing the speed up button again, he closed up onto the leaders easily & took 2nd, but then got totally outbraked into the next corner & after that was all over the place, running wide at every turn, not even bothering to turn for La Source on lap 9, thus going extremely wide & dropping to 4th, then after that, he didn`t make 1 clean corner, then on the last lap, he goes straight into the sand trap at the right hander after the chicane after eau rouge & manages to come back on just in front of 5th place, gets round the next long right hander, then goes very wide at the next left, hits the wall & spins out, by the time he`s back up to speed, he`s 7th, so again, I mash the speed up button, but he`s all over the place & doesn`t catch anyone & again gets caught by the cars behind, finally crossing the line 0.4 secs ahead of 8th place. :(

His physical strength wasn`t fully depleted eitgher, was down to around 3/4s if not a bit lower.

What happened in the pits? why did he suddenly become a knob?

Why don't you use the Mobil NSX '01? I'm grinding this race no prob with that car.

Put some Sport Soft Tires so Bob won't have to pit. Tune the Nsx up to 600pp and you're good to go.

This is what I did when I did the seasonal

He probably changed from inters to slicks and couldn't handle the remaining water on the track with the cold slicks.

Start on inters.
Use the pace up to keep him just inside the red on his mood meter. For my D. Hurley I keep him just a tad past the y in his name. Adjust according to the length of you Bob's name.
If he doesn't always pass right away like mine, give him the overtake.
Be prepared for the 8th/9th lap pitstop.
If you think there is enough tire left, skip the pit stop and just let him slow his pace a bit until he is in the middle of his mood meter. This usually keeps my bob from wearing his tires too fast in the last 2 laps.

When I run this race I always start on inters, pass a few cars easily in the first few laps. Then I keep on him in the middle of the race, not getting him fully into the red, but making sure he doesn't slip back down. By lap 7 I am usually in the lead pack of cars. They all pit, some crash, chaos in the pit lane, I cruise by in the lead. I now switch back and forth between the big screen to see tire wear and the timing to see how fast the second place car is gaining. If bob saved his tires I will just let him cruise to victory and cancel his attempts to pit. If bob has less than 1/4 tires left I push him fairly hard to try to pad my lead and then usually come out in the lead pack again and fight for a win.

Because:

A) I don`t have that car.

B) I know for a fact that Bob can win easily in the Supra, it was just the fact that I didn`t pit him & he had worn out tyres that he lost the 1st time.

I think the NSX might be easier on its tires. I use the Nissan XANAVI NISMO Z '06 and don't have to pit, but the tires are worn out by the end of the race. If it was 11 laps I wouldn't make it.

And if you want to borrow any other car, send a friend request and I will share it if I own it.

And think about switching to a decaffeinated brand. ;)

Meanwhile, if you have the Nomad Diablo, give that a go. I pit on Lap 6 (1 lap early) in order to avoid the congestion in the pit lane, and my Bob typically wins by 45 seconds or more.

If you don't have it, hit me up; I'll loan you one!

M8,your frustration =bob's frustration.
You can't just keep mashing the pace up button to push bob.
Secondly, you're using the wrong car for the job.
Grab a JGTC NSX(Mobil1,Takata Dome,Loctite Mugen etc),put a set of sport soft tyres(Front and Rear)and he won't even need to pit, give bob (1) pace up at the start of the race and let him do the rest to win the race for ya.easy peasy m8.
It's a set and forget race m8,no frustration involved whatsoever that nets you 4mill Cr(with 200% bonus).

I use the takata nsx, top speed 186. Start with intermediate tires and skip all the pit stops at lap 8 and 9. I milk the crap out of this race. I pass everyone by lap 3 of 10.

This. 👍

Use Sport Softs and you don't even need to pit!

I started on Inters, and pushed Bob until he'd built up quite a lead. Pitting on L6, he fell to 5th, but reclaimed two of those spots before the pack pitted on L7, whereupon he overtook everyone in the pits and jumped into one hell of a lead and never looked back.

Haven't tried it with Sports Softs, but think I'll give it a go.

Reply to A: It´s on the Online Dealership right now
Reply to B: Put Sport Softs and Bob won´t pit at all.

I´m doing that and I´m winning each time by at least 20 seconds, and that´s without giving Bob a single order. If I coach him a bit he wins by 40-45 seconds.
