i was setting up my forums really early this morning, and, for test purposes, i opened like 15 reply windows by clicking "reply" and "open in new window." i believe this is where the problem started. you all know what this board is supposed to look like - well, all my text (not just here...every single website i go to) is set to like size 30. everything's huge (all the graphics are normal; the text is the only problem). the first 5 or so of the reply windows i opened in said test were just fine, but all the others were all big. i thought that maybe it was just that my forums were messed up, but then i noticed :gtp: was too. i don't know what happened or why it happened, but i know it's not supposed to happen.
someone help me!

Hold down CTRL and move your scroll wheel up and down to change IE's text size. :)

it's not working...
i'm unbearably ashamed to say this, but, i'm using AOL 8.
i'm such an inadequate bastard!

Ah, AOL, well...it is your font size setting, although I don't know how to change it in AOL. In Internet Explorer, you can click on View > Text Size and change it from there. You might want to try doing that in IE just once to see if it affects AOL.

As a fellow AOL 8.0 user, I know that there's two things you can do.

Jordan's solution, though longer, is sure to work. If you have IE installed because you're running a computer with Windows, when you change the fontsize in IE, you change the fontsize in AOL. Just change it to 'normal' or whatever it is.

Also, you can hold down 'CTRL' and move the wheel of the wheel mouse down for smaller fonts and up for larger fonts - always works for me. Try it again. ;)

great!
i have IE5, i just don't use it very often, but the view > text size thing worked after re-opening a site. much better.
thanks guys!

oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving as well :).
