Ever since the update, the game is crashing online

and I have to quit entire game

why why why ?

Dunno, but same thing here. Once I was stuck in "circle the track" mode after a race, and another time the game froze just as I crossed the finish line.

Because. Because. Because.
Each update adds features that may or may not work properly in certain conditions. If conditions get to a scenario that the computer code isn't programmed to deal with, it gets to the end of the code it is ready for and just stops. In other words, it doesn't know what to do and crashes.

Sadly, I have had 5 lock-ups since the update. Here we go again :grumpy:

Not only that, the cursor when doing the transmission settings is also messed up big time

what happened ???

same ere. have had nothing but issues since this latest update.

The new update has been making my game freeze almost every 15 minutes, I've just bought the DLC as well and it's making the game unplayable!
Put me off playing it right now, I'm fed up.

We wanted it better/faster/now instead of letting PD take their time to get it right. And now they are thinking like this:

I-don%27t-always-test-my-code-But-when-I-do-I-do-it-in-production.jpg

At the end of the day I like the updates (most of them) I am shocked though how many bugs they just created with this release! It makes me feel that they just threw this release out there without following proper release process (develop, document, test, inspect/correct, test again, build, test and then release to production)

They failed to document 50% of the things they changed, changed things that were not broke, added new things that break... Now we have to wait for January to fix them all (or some at least...)

Also loading times are MUCH longer now, there is a black screen when going into races or switching screens that hangs for a while, the "miniature effect" but, chase cam glitch, online missing premium cars (though there is a workaround), online shuffle glitch (PD acknowledged)... the list goes on

Looking forward I will not complain anymore if things dont happen right away with PD anymore. This release was obviously hurried and corners were cut.

No crashing here... what may be happening?

I experienced a couple lock ups as well. It's really annoying.

You make it sound like this is something new. Giving them more time isn't the answer, look how long it took to develop the game in the first place, then it was released with all kinds of problems. Now they are giving out "free" updates, those are not updates, they are patches to try to fix what should have worked in the initial release.

You can thank online for that, game developers have found that they can push out junk then start releasing patches to try to fix the bugs. Some developers are worse than others, PD just happens to be one of the really bad ones.

Just for the record, after every update there are people blaming the latest patch for all kinds of issues. Many times the patch has nothing to do with their problems, it's just easier to blame the patch. I don't notice any difference in loading times, I have no problem selecting premium cars while racing online, and the only online racing problems I've encountered were the same ones that have been with us since the game came out.

Good point... lol... I cant argue with that one bit. I was trying to be nicer though and try to give them SOME credit... :sly:
