Why is the payout so low online?

I don't even want to bother with random online races with such low payouts I feel like its more productive to grind career events. But if the payout in online were better then I feel like it would drive the online community and make online racing more valuable and rewarding.

IMO the payout for first place should be around 50k and last place should get at least 5-10k.
 
How many laps did you do and with how many people.
The longer the race the higher the reward, the same goes for more opponents

Thats not what I'm about at all. You just have to put up with alot of BS online it would be nice to get something out of it.

I know its based on laps/number of people. I actually haven't really raced online much yet, its difficult to find a room that isn't NASCAR or drifting or something else dumb.

I wish you could host a server on a PC or something.

Why do you want to host your own server?
You can make your own room with your own rules, is that not good enough?

I just think it would be cool to have a server going with out me having to be in the server. It takes hours for people to join a new server. its boring racing alone.

Yeah, and I had full login bonus, I actually made $20k more than first place. :lol: It was in the Plymouth Ghia, good stuff.

Man I cant wait for the dang community update. It would be awesome to have a big ol GTP club inside of GT6. Would make for much better racing.

I think the payout should vary from race to race based on number of people and distance of the race but that the payout for first should be at least 4k even on a short race with 2 people up to 50k for a longer race with 6 or more people and more for races that are over 50 miles and more than 4 people

totally agree. Obviously you shouldn't get rich off of a 1v1 race but a 5 lap race with 6 or more people should have a decent payout. like 50k for first.
