I've been a bit bored recently so I've been buying any old rally cars that look good (most of them are pretty awesome) and taking them on a rally track. I find it really fun, especially at night and I was just wandering why it doesnt crop up in events except special and seasonal? considering you get everything else there

Dont know lol.

I think they wanted more room for the other races as well. And the rally special events take pretty long.

Yes, they put from every series a bit in it. F1, Drift, NASCAR, Rally, Super GT, DTM ( not the best serie ) and some others. So they cant make the one way bigger than the other.

I miss the great rally races from the earlier versions of this game. Seems a shame to have so many rally cars that can't earn money (unless you play online).

So really it's either wait for a seasonal event or play online. You'll just have to find someone to organize an event for some rallying. I might do something.

Unfortunately the physics are really good but the tracks to test them on are not at all.

I really miss the GT4 tracks. There were some excellent tight twisty tracks that mimic some rally stages very well. Citta D'aria, Costa D'amalfi were excellent tarmac tracks while just about all the dirt/snow combinations were excellent for off road.

Sadly GT5's random track generator seems to be exported straight from Lotus Turbo Challenge II and III. Let's face it PD, RECS was the shiznit 20 years ago, not today.

I miss Citta d'aria and Gran Canyon. Off-topic, back to topic. Now the terrible thing is that you can't get money a second time on special events. I was truly dissapointed after I did the Snow Rally on Advance a second time for nothing.

I actually collect old rally cars too. The '69 Nissan Bluebird rally car might not be the best in-game but the styling is great.

It was lucky being born in '86 cause I snagged the Peugeot 205 T16 as a birthday car.

I would like to see some more snow events on the seasonal list. I personally hate gravel, mostly because I suck at it and I'm to lazy to practice (Wooooooooooo lazy idiots FTW)
Doing random custom tracks spits out some pretty hard ones though, especially on the snow setting. Give it a shot
