Why keep doubles of the same car?

think that would happen?

We can hope!

I don't spend that much time in my garage screen, the cars I don't use are at the bottom of the list, and I recognise the ones that I use regularly by the liveries, and they're always in the first 3 rows.. so to be honest, I keep the dupes because I'm too lazy to delete them.. if we do get to sell them in a future update it would be a bonus.

but you could just go to livery menu, and swap liveries... it literally takes less than a minute
So you can show off both sides of a livery in the same shot.

yeah, makes sense. to be honest i only have 5 cars i regularly use. Mclaren 650S GT3, Mclaren 650S, Aston Martin Vulcan, Honda NSX and Nissan vision 2020.

So you can show off both sides of a livery in the same shot.

LOL! so thats the reason. love it!

Well, sometime ago, a member was complaining that a Porsche 991 GTE Gr. 3 were he put considerable mileage had decreased the power output in one horsepower, comparing to a zero miles one.

is that a thing? why would they add a feature like that? maybe its a glitch.
because if that feature is in, then they should impliment an "oil change/garage/car wash" thing that restores the cars performance.

I hope this can be officially mentioned by PD, cause if its true.... im gonna use certain cars much much less...

Can't change liveries in Sport mode so i have 3 or 4 of each of my faves with different liveries.
Even if you could change its much quicker and simpler to just choose from the liveries you have to hand.

Same with me, I usually keep them because sometimes I have multiple liveries for the same car, so why not :D

You have that option already.
Yes, I do know you can do different set ups and save them on the set up sheets currently. You could with dupes already have setups applied to cars of the same make for different tracks though.

I don't mind having the same car multiple times, because I put a tune to that car for each track and a livery so I know that car for each track.

If I get gifted a dupe and I bought the previous one, I sell the one I can get money back for. Otherwise, if I won't benefit, I keep it. Fwiw, I now have all the cars inc. mileage exchange ones. Including dupes, I think it's 228 in total!
I can't help it.

Why? Because it takes effort to find and delete them.
Can you turn the daily gift off? Since I already have all the cars it's only an annoying intermission.

Pictures, same car multiple liveries.

So you can show off both sides of a livery in the same shot.

Actually, there's a fun (but time-consuming) work-around:
  • Take a two-car picture using one of the liveries you want. The second car doesn't matter.
  • Leave Scapes and apply the second livery to the first car.
  • From your gallery, view the image and select the option to shoot that setting again.
  • Select the second car, and replace it with your newly-liveried version.
That's how I ended up doing all of the images in my livery gallery, like so:

I used to keep duplicates but I delete them now. The only ones I have kept are the duplicates that have mileage on them. I can’t bring myself to delete a car that I have used.

To be fair, its not like anyone is under time constraints to get scape photos out lol.

i'm the opposit, i'll always delete the older one and keep the newest one with least mileage.

ha its because when you play 2 player local split screen if you wish to race like for like vehicles - and you only have in your garage one type of the car you've chosen to play with - then both player 1 and player 2 will have the same livery applied to that vehicle during the race which can get a little confusing during replays. Whereas if you have 2 or more of the same vehicles you can both race player v player in the same car yet with different liveries (according to what has been set on each vehicle)... Hope that makes sense !
