Will a game from the UK work on a PC in New Zealand?

GTR2 is only findable in the UK, so I think I'm going to buy from there, but before I make any decisions, will it work on my PC here in NZ?

You should be able to. I've got a European copy of Quake Arena III and it has worked on many computers(LAN battles in IT class years ago). I think if you wanted to play online then you'd need to pay for the UK servers if it's not free.
