Playing Tsukuba 9 hour with the X1 and the game got glitched, now the car is running on it's own and it is out of gas and it is impossible for me to pit.
Currently, I am 3 hours 33 minutes in. I have completed 329 laps and am now averaging about 1.33.3 laps per minute since I've run out of gas. Now I did the math:
at 1:34 (round up to be safe), with 5:27:00 left
5:27:00 = 327 minutes
=19,620 seconds

Each lap is about 94 seconds therefore:

19,620/94 = 208.7 laps.. which should give me a total of 537 laps.
I've read other forums and the AI in this challenge can do about 530 - 540 laps. My car will be slowing them down a little bit by being in their way but this is going to be close...This is very tense.
 
It's karma... runing a X2010 against the tiny cars is bad thing :D

That depends on the fastest AI. I mean, if the 2nd car is an Amuse S2k, it can hardly be a 'tortoise' and a hare, can it? :lol:

That should be an indicator of where you'll finish - the speed of the second place AI car. Effectively, the fastest you could have is the Amuse S2k Turbo, which will beat you and would make me rather angry if that was the case (I have quite a hatred for the damned thing). If the fastest is about CT230R level, IS F RC, you might make it to the line still in first place...think of it as a Driving Mission from GT4 for you, but in reverse. :)

36 Minutes to go, I'm on lap 516. They are very close now, only 25 laps behind. I'll post again once I know the results but it's going to be very close. I think I should be able to take it.

36 minutes to go, and they are 25 laps behind? Correct right?

That should be a walk in the park then, but I think once you passed the 9 hour mark, the race doesn't end. Hence, the glitch.
 
This must be a glitch within Spec 2 because I could swear I just read a thread where the same exact thing happened.

I think this might be really close, maybe 1st & 2nd place finishing on the same lap kind of close.
 
The S2000 GT1s are quick, that X1 is limited to 50mph so it all depends on pre-glitch lappage. Frankly, I did the 9h ages ago.

okay, so after all that time, I finished the race first at 540 laps, just 14 laps in front of second place The S2000 GTI (only 525 laps). I guess I slowed them down enough by being in their way. I guess I got lucky considering I didn't have to race all 9 hours of it.
For some reason, I can't save the replay or even watch it. Not saying I would but the option isn't even there.
Anyways, that was tense, but it's over now.
 
Hmm, I think I better quickly run these enduros, get a big lead in the X2010 and then glitch good 'ol Bob into finishing the races for me. Schweet! :p :D
