This is in response to the F1 related, "Can Vettel/Schumacher win a race this year?" threads.
So the question is, will Jeff Gordon win a race in 2012? We know that he has been suffering this year, mainly due to unfortunate luck. So far he has posted only 1 top 5 finish (Texas). When, if so, would Jeff Gordon win a race this year? My bet is that he wins 2 races maximum, one win at Infineon and the other at Indy.
What do you think about Jeff Gordon's chances this year?
EDIT (7/9/12): As of now, there are 8 races left until the start of The Chase. These tracks are, New Hampshire, Indianapolis, Pocono, Watkins Glen, Michigan, Bristol, Atlanta, and Richmond. Of these 8 tracks, Jeff is best at New Hampshire and Atlanta.
Now, along with if he can win at least one race, can Jeff Gordon make The Chase for the Cup? Things are looking worse and worse every weekend.
