Will the White Detailing on the Art Morrison go away if I repaint it?

The title says it all. The reason i want to know is I love C1 corvettes in red with the white detailing. The regular C1's in the game do not have any white detailing so i would have to buy a Art Morrison. I don't want to pay that much for a primarly visual piece if it isn't how i want it.

Simply, yes.

I repainted mine in Tuxedo Black. I wish I could have kept the white coves, but it was still worth it to be rid of that ugly silver. It still looks great, and completely saves what is otherwise a gorgeous car.
 
Thanks for the help! It's a real shame It's such a gorgeous car with detailing. I'll probably buy it anyway because it's a pretty car no matter what.
 
You could paint it white, and then the coves will still be white :). The stock white color for 1960 Corvettes was Ermine White, if you're particular about that sort of thing like I am. I think it's in the game.

It's a shame that important details get erased when the original colour is changed.

Yes it is... another example is the two tone of the Bugatti Veyron... if you spray it, it will lose it... I wish I could paint 1 like this:

Another example is the '02 Viper GTS... if you repaint it, you'll lose the racing stripes... and the same happens with the Shelby GT350...

On the other side... some car's don't lose any details when repainted... like the '00 Viper GTSR Concept... which retains the silver racing stripes...

The T.M. edition Evo 6 is probably the only car that keeps it's special decals when painted. :lol:
 
Yes, but, i read somewhere here that some chip paints comes with some kind of "code" that allow to paint in two tones if the car support it, but i never try it.

I do believe I said probably. I wasn't saying that is was the only one. To anyone who stumbles upon my stupid posts, take a look at the time it was posted, convert it to EST, and think "EliteDreamer's brain doesn't seem to work well after 12:00." ;)

I completely forgot about most of the cars that were supplied in that link. The Zonda R I forgot to mention... how could I miss that?
