I’m new to gaming my son gave me his PS4 when he got a PS5. I hardly use it. I tried a car racing game at a friends and liked it so I want to get the hardware needed to make the PS4 work for me. I’m planning on getting the following hardware from Logitech RS50 system, RS PEDALS, RS CLUTCH MODULE, RS SHIFTER. AS FAR AS GAMES GO IM PROBABLY GOING TO START WITH gran turismo 7 . Can some one tell me if there is anything else that’s needed I wasn’t sure if the racing adapter was needed . I’m assuming this will work with the PS 4 . I’ll be setting it up on my den office desk where I have a 27” Samsung oddosy gaming monitor
Any advice is appreciated

Not sure I'd be too concerned with a shifter and clutch pedal to start with in GT7 , although the load-cell brake is a nice upgrade on the pedals.
 
You definitely don't need the Racing Adapter for the RS setup. It's only needed if you're trying to make older G-series peripherals work with RS50.
