I don't agree at all. Stock tunes are not fairs because for the elite only in my opinion. Myself and a lot of tuners are publishing a lot of settings for everybody . The goal is not the performance only but to let the car easy to drive fast for everybody have fun finishing their races without major problems.

Is that not what sport is all about? Here's the same thing now whoever can do the best with it wins. Obviously motorsport can have that second aspect of engineering to it but it's not unfair if you're all given the exact same thing to race with. If people are having trouble handling the cars there's assists which help them but don't give them a 2 second speed advantage.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume you mean Racing Softs. Even then why? The way the FIA and Daily Race C tyre wear works you'd have zero grip on the softs barely 10% into the race

My guess is they have the wear up so high because of the hard tires.

If they said soft, perhaps the tire wear wouldn't be set so high.

Just a guess on my part.
