GTP Lite should be renamed to GTP Bare Bones! Take a look at it!

Holy crap! yes he should rename it to that. The jumbo "report to mods" button is gone. :p :D

GTP Lite is basicly the default Vbulletin skin with a few changes here and there.

I use full on my physical connections. But when I'm using Pocket Internet Explorer over the mobile phone I'll probably use Lite. Is it stored in the cookies, so that you can have different styles on different machines?

I just switched to lite, I have to say I like it because i'm not to fond of those Xp style buttons.

Im a 2K guy in an Xp world. ;)

No, it is stored on the server, not in your cookies, so you will be using whatever style you have set to use when you log into your account no matter what computer you are on.

Your browser downloads all the images and stores them in Temporary Internet Files (cache) on your PC.

Then, when you next connect, the browser does a quick compare of what's on the site right now, with what it has in the cache. If there is no difference, the browser takes the item from the cache, thus not downloading it.

This is why people who say that you should empty your Temporary Internet Files to speed up your computer are usually talking rubbish, because unless you have an extreme lack of disk space, taking this action will in fact slow your internet browsing down.

In my situation, that's a shame.

Oh well. [shrug]
