Its almost that time of year again, tournament starts Monday, Murray is seeded number three despite being ranked fifth..

Draw has been made, Murray is up against David Goffin 104 in the world and is in the same half of the draw as Nadal and Djokovic, Djokovic gets Gobulev in the first round, Nadal v Klizan, Federer v Lorenzi

In the womens draw top seed Serena Williams gets Tatishvili, second seed Li Na v qualifier Paula Kania, Sharapova is up against British wildcard entry Samantha Murray, who is 242 in the world!

I'm not expecting much of Murray this year, since the surgery he hasn't been on form at all really. But I guess splitting from Lendl may have unsettled him a bit, hopefully Mauresmo will get the most out of him.

It still sends chills down my spine whenever I see the moment Murray won it last year, it's one of those sporting moments you will always remember where you were when you were watching it.

I feel the same, im not expecting to much from him either, if he got to the Semi's like he did at Rolland Garros then I think it would be a successful tournament for him..

So quite comfortable for Murray earlier winning 6-1 6-4 7-5 against Goffin who did fight back in the last set, Ward and Konta are out...

Federer and Nadal on tomorrow, Murray will play Slovenian world No 92 Blaz Rola on Wednesday...

Yup. These summer games are teasers alright.
Right now, Matt Ebden doing an impressive job holding off Raonic - literally a David and Goliath situation. Raonic's serve is almost too fast for the eye to observe - a blinding 129 mph - but when Ebden gets to the ball he places it so well that he leaves Raonic bewildered.
That, of course, makes the placid Raonic mad, and he comes back with revenge served extra chilled.

Wonder what's in that little bottle Raonic sucks on . . . some kind of secret sauce?

------------------

Nadal vs Klizan on right now - both slip-sliding away on this court. Not really a walkover for Nadal - bit of an interesting fight going on.

Murray on court no1 from 1pm against Slovenian Blaz Rola...

Easy win for Murray yesterday dropping only two games against an opponent who had never played against someone of Murray's calibre before, Murray plays third round game against number 27 seed Roberto Bautista Agut tomorrow..

Nadal is first up on Centre Court against Luc Rosol....now why is that name familiar :sly:

And Rosol takes the first set, number one seed in some trouble!..

Missed the match because of work but he certainly sounded impressive from what I read, all looks very promising, Plays number 20 seed Kevin Anderson next on Monday...

This Kyrgios fella looks the real deal, if he holds serve in the next game he's beaten Nadal. His serve, forehand, backhands are phenomenal, so powerful.

Edit: and he's won it with an ace! Nadal didn't play badly at all but Kyrgios dominated him.

What on earth was up with Serena in that doubles match! Rumours around claiming all sorts of things. Seriously the most bizzare thing seen on a Tennis court.

The most disappointing performance by a pair of Williams' since the Austrian GP.

I'm here all week.

Recently yes, but he has won it twice..

And that's Andy Murray out too :(

Straight sets defeat to Dimitrov - never heard of him before, but apparently he is ranked 13th in the world, while Andy Murray is currently ranked 5th, so no great shame in losing this one.

Djokovic is making heavy weather of his game against Cilic as well - the top seeds seem to be struggling this year.

Murray had shocker of a start, losing the first set 6-1 in just 25 minutes and he never recovered from that, he fought back in the second set but once he lost it in a tiebreak that was it and he lost the third 6-2, Dimitrov was fantastic and deserved to go through to his first Grand Slam semi, have to say Murray was great at the press conference after, answered all the questions and was very dignified, no excuses from him just said that he didn't play well enough...

Djokovic did beat Cilic in five sets...

....And Federer is through as well, beating Wawrinka in four sets after losing the first....

Eugenie Bouchard v Petra Kvitova will be the Ladies Final...

Men's final has been on last few hours, Djokovic leads 6-7 6-4 7-6...

Federer wins five games in a row to take it to a deciding set!

Unbelievable that a linesman got a call wrong on Championship point, but Federer successfully challenged the call - as if it needs saying, Federer is an unbelievable competitor and it takes something very special to beat him. I want him to win this, but I can see Djokovic holding on, depsite the disappointment of failing to wrap it up in the 4th set.

I'm not so sure, Djokovic looks spent when trying to deal with Federer's serve, he doesn't look like breaking it at all.

Edit: although the momentum seems to be shifting.
