I don't wanna post this, but i'm gonna be open to you guys. I trust you'll know what is going on. And its a personal event that happened in my family.
It was Sunday, I woke up, You feeling good. Eatting my breakfast. I walk into the computer, seeing my parents looking at vacation photos. They are getting mad that our crappy-ass-computer can't burn images to a disc. So I say, you can't do it. My parents take their anger out on me, then start talking about the worst topic you can get to. "why did you fail last year." I've told them more than once why. And I'm getting pissed cause I told them that the school put me in a higher level than I was supposed to. So they continue to ask, And I just have the nerve to say,"Do you ****ing listen?" Thats when hell broke loose. A sunday, gone bad. It had to be the worst agruement ever to appear within the family. EVER. After that, I decided to go play the GT3 to cool down. I played about 2 hours before they came back in and started over with the BS. I don't know why they were doing it, but it left me confused. But when they came in, they started, "why are you negative all the time." I'm like, You're not supposed to be postive all the damn damn time. No-one is. I'm sure about that, everyone has their moments. But they kept asking, like a child who wants a candy bar at the grocery store. So once again, they pissed me off to the point that I had to say, "What the **** is up with you'll? You better ****ing explain why." So they continued to get pissed, me knowing that they must be mad at the computer. So after that, I went to my friends house. For about 3 or 4 hours. My friend wanted to go over to my house, and I didn't want him to get into a mess that he would not wanna see. So, I decided to go, it was about 7:00PM when I decided to go home. So when I get home it was quiet till after dinner. They Started they start yelling at me again, like i'm a person who is dumber than a door knob. So, I once again, had to say another thing I regret saying,"You keep yelling, you'll **** this family up then it already is." My dad tries to calm me down, but I punched him in the chest and knocked him down. Then they start talking about sending me to a boy's home. I tell my mom to shut the hell up. So, about 3 hours later. My Parents cool down, and everything is settled. I'm not gonna forget this day. I even had thoughts of asking my parents to shoot me, and end my life. I'm still depressed from the fight. And this will stick in my mind for the rest of my life. I just hope it don't haunt me for my mistakes.

if i ever got close to doing half of that **** to my parents they would shoot me like literally...just be glad your parents didnt get mad for saying ****...if i said that id be a gonner...and punching my dad, i wouldnt be online right now if i did that

This is called adolescence. It happens to everybody, but that doesn't make it any easier. But let me give you one small bit of advice: go apologize to your parents. Don't do it for them - do it for you. It will be worth the effort and you just might get an apology out of them. At the very least it will be practice in maturity for you.

Here's anothe small bit of advice: find and listen to a song called Institutionalized by Suicidal Tendencies.

Do you know how much trouble I really am for doing that? I'm not even supposed to be online.

I'm on my own computer. I just found a modem for it in my closet and hooked it up. I was on the family, But i'm not gonna leave a history with GTP all in it.

I did apologized to them yesterday. It felt a little better, but I still regret what I did. I wished it never happened. Infact. I wish I never woke up that day.

Everything will be fine Darin my boy. As long as you were sincere with your apology and didnt pull the classic, **** IM OSRRY ALRIGHT!youll be fine.

That happened to me. I failed this year, but they put me in High School because of my standardized test scores. My mom was real pissed about that one. And to put the icing on the cake, I got accepted into the Honors program. After that, my mom was talking me into being a plumber or an electrician. She's not mad anymore, though. It's almost like she forgot about the whole thing.

I'm not like that. I don't say sorry, I say the word,"apologize." Sorry is such a weak word, and 90% when you say it, it seems everyone knows you'll do it again.

Sorry to here about that Darin, my parents are like shopping_carts_'s parents anything at all like what you did and things would be completley dfferent. :scared:

Yea, I'm like, grounded. Literally. I can't go anywhere. I'm glad I bought this modem last summer.

My parents wouldn't allow me on the computer they'd kick me out!

That happened to a friend; he spent the day on his PC so his parents kicked him out and locked the door so he stayed at my house for the evening. Weird he knocked on the door and said "I need somewhere to go" so I said 'ok' and let him in. :D

Am I the only teen who gets along with his parents 99% of the time?

Because you don't challenge them enough.

You now: "Whee, I'm MazKid."
You, if you challenged your parents' authority: "Dad, I'm sick of Mazdas, they're trash, the Protege5 was never cool even when it was yellow, I'm selling everything I own and getting a Volvo 850 T-5R and I'm getting a tongue-piercing."

You could be soooo radical. 👍

Now that i agree with. You see, parents love their authority, its when you challenge it you get in trouble. Darin challenged them by screaming the best word in the world to them.

MazKid, buy a 240sx.

I agree, go for the volvo!! 👍

TO DARIN: I know exactly what you are going through, I'm 17 and I get in screaming matches with my parents alot lately, I find myself repairing large fist shaped holes in the wall all the time, I recomend that over hiting a person.... 💡 better yet, a punching bag might help. word of advise: if you are going to use the wall method, watch out for the wood behind the drywall......... :ouch:

Well, I did that a few weeks ago when I got mad at them. It was in the office and I just went full force into the wall. my entire hand to my wrist was in the wall, I hit a brick and I pulled my hand out and blood was all over my hand. It was not cool, but damn did it feel good.

But I had to pay for a new wall section to be fixed. But there still the dent in the wall where I kneed it.

I would pay Mazkid $120 to tell his dad, "screw you and you mazda liking habits. I'm gonna get a volvo and out class your crappy Protege5."

That would kick so much ass.

This happens to me all the time. "Why don't you do any chores?" "You play your PS2 too much." "Do your homework."

In fact, my Dad just called me and started to yell at me over the phone because I forgot to write down the cross street of the Allstate Insurance Company...

You know what, we don't have a P5(my grandma does though), and I like Mazdas, so saying something like that would completely kill my legitamacy.
That's like Roger Foo saying "The SCCA sucks!".

No actually i get along with my parents pretty good. I hate fighting.

I don't get very good grades so i do get yelled at, but i just sit there and stay very calm while my mom yells at me. It must make her feel bad cuz she stops. But this only happens like 4 days of the year.
