I do not really have a kid-parent relationship with my parents but rather a person-person relationship. As long as a try hard in school and don't get ****ed up and drive everything is cool.
 
When i got my eyebrow pierced my parents disowned me, after a week of nothing but "the milks in the fridge." etc... they got over it, now they actually like it! They werent to happy when I came home drunk once, usually I try and sober up in time. But they cut me a fair bit of slack i guess. Yer, aslong as i do well in exams and stuff they tend to be fairly leniant.
 
I had similar stuff hapen to me Darin,probably because i was spending my days in my room hooked on my PC.
So i got a job and things worked out,no more fuss about anything.They didn't want me to put priority on my PC but take care of stuff in the real world,get a driving licence,get a job etc.
Now everything is ok.No problems what so ever.
