5:25 long; I would classify it as ambient techno and it is actually quite good.

Not the tour, this is the music that plays during the initial setup of XP. I loved it the first time I heard it years ago, and have always kept it around to listen to every once in a while. 👍

What a nerd! Thanks, nerd.

Well, I found that for long compsci assignments, I could open the example with notepad instead of word, and it wouldnt be locked so I could copy the example and turn it in, saving a bunch of work. Am I h4xx0rz now?

If your job was unpacking and setting up PCs for business customers with small to medium size networks, you would soon learn to really really really hate this stupid piece of crap "music."

Not that I'm bitter or anything.

LOL wfoo. I can see that happening

Me, I like it. But I am also a big fan of ambient and chill out music, so it kinda works with what I normally listen to.

I liked it too, the first 1200 times.

Like anything, too much is too much. The really annoying thing is that the HP business desktops will play through the built-in speaker, so it's not like you just turn off the sound; you can't until after the setup is done!

I've restored my PC about 20 times now in a year and half, and I don't hate it a bit. The problem is, I can't adjust the volume on my speaker so it plays the music honkin' loud when I set up my PC.
