Windows Media Player 10

I think WMP 10 is amazing! Its looks really cool and its great for video's, unfortunately the sound quality is still poor (crackles)......I still use good old winamp 2 for audio 👍

Anyway, I have a few problems with WMP 10 and I thought I should probably ask here.......

Firstly all my star ratings have dissapeared......they are not shown in library view..

and secondly, I have downloaded the WMP 10 visualisation, Energy Bliss.....It claims that it shows the album art on the vis.......It doesnt work! I still have a pic in the album info area (bottom right).........but how do you load the art into the vis???......all I get is a picture of a CD

Can anyone help!!! Thanks in advance...........

I've come up with a problem myself, when I was playing videos, it was lagging, I had a browser window minimized. That's all. It wasn't as smooth as it used to be, meh, I'm very pleased with the new layout.

Nah, WMP 10 comes in handy for video. iTunes is good for audio.
iTunes sucks. Period. End of story. There was no story to begin with...

Foobar2000 (for audio) & Media Player Classic (for video) = the greatest multimedia combination ever.

I've been using WMP 10 for several days now, and I love it a lot. But, I hate the zoom function. Instead of clicking on an icon in the upper right corner, I now have to right click, then click on zoom, then do the same to get rid of it. Before, with 9, it was easier and quicker, but 10 still rocks!

It's too bad the video start slowdown from SP2 is still there, though it doesn't seem to be as bad as before. I couldn't seem to get rid of it. Any clue how to?

Itunes rules. It keeps all my audio orderly and not all over the place.
Examples:
the pics show how It is all in order and not all over the place.

Uh... so? My tagging program can automatically rename and place my music in folders, and Foobar's playlist can be easily configured to mimick iTunes. And when it uses less than half the ram iTunes does, you can't exactly complain can you?
