Wing mirrors are back to front?

With this site being reasonably large as far as GT players go it would not surprise me if someone is keeping an eye on it, most likely noticed this topic and reported it.

I think the mirrors were fixed:

This guy does a race on the High Speed Ring. At about 5:40 into the video, he changes to the cockpit view. If you watch where he's going and what the right mirror is showing, you'll notice that it fits now.

I've watched a few of my own replays. If you go into cockpit view and get Bob to turn his head. As you would IRL it kinda makes more sense.
I know that doesn't help during a race but the rear view mirror works fine for that. I just check left or right if I lose the car from that.

What do people think now that they have seen it?

I have been playing with the Suzuki Cappuccui and the right hand mirror is wrong (just like in the videos).

I started to argue with my other 1/2 that perhaps its right, but just a funny angle and she says that its completely wrong.

And she is right.. I am just battling with a mini and its on my left side, completely level with me.. But its in my RIGHT mirror.. Thats just wrong and now I have spotted it (again) it spoils the illustion.. How did they get this so wrong?

I think what's happening is that the right mirror is showing you what the left mirror should show. Probably a mistake in the code that switched the mirrors. If the left mirror shows what is right of the car then that is probably the case.
