Wing removal on standards, wing still in shadow

Has anyone else noticed when you remove a wing on a standard, the shadow of a wing is still there.

I wouldn't be surprised. Last time I was trying the spoilers in some cars and for some reason, the brackets (whatever they are called) were the spoiler is bolted on stayed on my car's trunk lid for a while, even when I didn't equipped a spoiler. They looked kind of cool though...

You technically dont remove it... pd has whats called the invisible paint... so of course there will be a shadow...
