I live close to Toronto, and having grown up with Canadian Winter I don't think it would be the same without it. Although each year we only get from one to two real snowfalls a year now, and the real cold and snow lasts from January to early March only, lots of Canadians still like to whine and gripe about it.

I LOVE driving in the snow. If you use your head and don't be a total idiot, snow driving is so fun! I only have a front-wheel drive car now though, but it was awesome when I used to drive my big '88 Caddy down the street in half a foot of snow! Drifting anyone?

The high yesterday here in Michigan was around 46!! Burrrrrr It sleeted a little bit but the low was around 32. About a week ago it hit 27. I hate the cold but I love to drive in the snow. Especially if I get my 4x4 truck out. That truck is perfect for even the really deep snow. I can get to at least 2 feet of snow with no problem. 👍

I'm sad because I park my Miata for the winter, because I do not want the salt from the roads eating up my body. Winters here destroy cars:grumpy: I'm hoping this weekend will be just warm enough for one last top-down motoring session before the vast depression caused by no Miata sets in.:)

One thing good about the 45 degree temps this week is that when the boost comes on in the cold dense air, the Miata pulls like quite the little bastard! Surpised lots of lame ass ricers recently with my taillights pulling away from them:sly:

Let's see, there's three signs of winter in South Florida.

1. The first bits of Canadian money unexpectedly wind up in your pocket change.

2. The license plates don't have oranges on them.

3. The lines are longer everywhere.

So far, as of today, just #2 seems to be occuring. By April, the state becomes ours again...

Living in NORTH Florida, it's quite different than south or even central FL. It gets well into the 30's here, and occasionally even the teens some nights. And that's just TOO DAMN COLD!!! But I sleep much better in the winter. It's much better sleeping when it's cold. And being a soldier in the cold is NO fun. for my november drill we are going north into Alabama, and that is historically always a very cold weekend outside :grumpy: I'd like to take my truck up north into some snow if i get the chance though :D that would be fun!

If thats your truck in the avatar then yes you would have fun in the snow. Your truck is similar to mine and I have a great time in the snow. My truck pretty much sits all sumer and once in a while I pull it out in the winter when the daily driver cant make it thru the deep stuff. 👍
I would drive mine more often but it is such a gas hog!!! :yuck:
