I thought i would get this started and keep them separate from the discussion thread..I am really enjoying this so far..the music is great!

The photomode is quite basic but has shutter speed, aperture, focus and quite a few pan/rotate/zoom functions so there are some good opportunities. I have come out with these but still getting the hang of it.

These are all 3840x2160px #PS4 Pro

Nice shots, but the fact the camera apparently can't pan is going to limit the scope of this thread... There are only so many ships, tracks and angles. Still, this has made me want to buy a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV, so thanks.

You can pan by holding left stick & square, rotate with the triggers and zoom with right stick and move all around the craft so plenty of opportunities..Where did you read you can not pan around out of interest?
edit: But I do agree there are only so many ships/tracks and angles so we shall see how long the interest holds 👍
I am pleased with my PS4 Pro and 4k TV, subtle differences, but overall as a package worth the upgrade if you can.

Incredible shots  guys 👍👍👍 A lot of photo potential and stunning photo opportunities  Is photo mode similiar to what we had on HD/Fury from PS3 ? Unfortunately I'm out of money and won't be getting this game in the near future, but luckily can watch your shots :D

From your photos it looked like the camera was locked to the centre of the ship and I really thought I remembered not being able to pan in Wipeout HD... But I could be thinking of something else, sorry. Thanks for clarifying though.

Same controls as PS3 @RL_23 difference is you can jump into photo mode in mid-race now (though not easily) It's a shame you won't be joining us just yet as you had some stupendous screenshots from HD/Fury.

No worries  They did look a bit fixed :P but you can pan around a little and zoom in/out (but yes you are still fixed to the ship you choose and can't move too far away) not having had Wipeout HD I am not sure how much its changed but @MeanElf should be able to say what is different in the photomode.👍

Good pics guys, shame im not into the whole wipeout floating above the track game...Good shots tho..
I'm not really either but I saw the videos and gave it a go and glad I did it is awesome. Highly recommend for a quick pick up and play arcade game if you get a chance 👍

I tried not to take more photos but every game has photomode at the bottom and it is so easy to press 'square' and quite addictive!! :ill:

I think I prefer the faster machines and 'SOL' is my new favourite track :)

Actually @RL_23 I notice now that the focal distance (apeture) is nowhere near as broad as with the original game, which is a shame.

From the original.

Conversely though, the level of detail and texturing is far better with the remaster.

cheers @imported_rik19 It is great for a blast round a track, you forget you are floating even in 'close chase cam'. I can't drive this one in cockpit 'no ship' there are too many bends! :P

p.s @MeanElf do you use default and hold down 'X' to accelerate and the 2 triggers for air brake L&R? I feel it is wrong/not natural for me somehow but can't think of another way easier?

edit: I also found out you get a much sharper detail of any 'ships' if you actually turn off aperture and just use the shutter speed as there isn't much blur even on 100% for some reason?

@torque99 I have gone with R1 as accelerate and L1 to fire weapons. The tricky thing with the default is that you can't easily activate absorb or any of the face buttons if you're furiously holding down the X - so yeah, it does feel weird.

I'll need to check my set up tomorrow for you, but for now it's a Breaking Bad re-watch whilst beer is consumed and the election shenanigans kept an eye on.

Finally got around to revealing my control preferences Mr @torque99 - apologies.
L2/R2 Airbrakes
R1 Accel
L1 Weapon
Square Absorb
Circle Look Back
Triangle Camera
X Flip/Emp

I also agree that Subway is a fine track, but Sol is nerve-wracking!

Sol is insane - I was always nervous as hell when racing on Sol 2 just for the one section without barriers - this one though. Spectacular scenery shots when you fall off the track though before resetting.
