Just watched again Casino royale movie, makes me wish for a Bond game.
Maybe 3rd person action adventure in the style of blood stone on the x360, by Bizarre creations dev. It had pursuits, hand to hand combat and shooting.
Could be pretty damn cool, i don't know who has the license now for game dev, no one i guess.
I'll check out bloodstone and quantum of solace games maybe on x360, never tried them.
Edit: seems i can't find them on my x360 in the store list of games. Maybe you can only access them now on the newer consoles?
I don't see it on psnow, and can't find them in canada ebgames store. I'm screwed lol.
Maybe on ebay.ca..

Edit2: have to say though one thing i don't like so much in that movie is the title song, not so cool sounding.

Try finding a Nintendo 64. That has the quintessential Bond game: GoldenEye. It should be the only Bond game you’ll ever need.

To be fair, N64s get quite on the pricey side, and I never liked its controller, especially when compared to the DualShock.

About the movie, you have to wonder sometimes how in such a big movie that should have attention to detail and be professionally made, they can have so ridiculous dialogue in some scenes.

Unless I'm out of it, i didn't rewatch it to make sure but when Bond goes to his car after the poisoned poker drink to use the defibrillator and some serum i guess,
the doctor on the phone says ' now listen to me very carefully or you will be dead in 60 secs' or something like that.
Then asks what poison it is, how can he know how fast it will work if he doesn't even know what poisoned Bond lol.

Bumping an old thread but this seems the best place.

Bond game from the makers of Hitman?

Continue Go On GIF by James Bond 007

Very curious to see how it is.
I love hitman woa and the freelancer mode in it, played that for days on end when 1st got it, not too long ago.

Just saw it on days of play yh, looks punchy action as should, but i find it a little cartoony, light vibe to what i would prefer.
Also, the face animations are a little weak.

Anyhow, will be cool to see real gameplay , it says in summer..
Didn't they announce it be shown on friday?
I didn't expect to see it shown on this event.
Fingers crossed.
Edit: also seems an uncharted recipe, feom character to the design being cinematic, hope it's not too scripted, rigid, linear.

It seems like mission based like the Hitman series, judging by the official website.

It's cool that it seems fully licensed. Omega, Aston Martin and Land Rover.

Yh i saw that afterwards, not much detail but says you can repeat missions and try with a mix of stealth, full action, guns, melee, gadgets, etc.
Sections with pursuits, cars, boats, etc.
Could be cool.

I like that this Bond is a bit more accurate to the novels than the film versions (he has the scar), though I'm surprised in that case they didn't give him a Bentley instead of an Aston. The age thing doesn't bother me, I don't mind a properly done origin story (like the Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raiders), and the movie Bonds were mostly too old anyway - he's supposed to be about 37 in the majority of the stories. Happy that it's stylized and colourful rather than edgy grimdark photorealism.

Hitman level freedom, Uncharted cinematics, a very good combo in my book.

Also, this is quite nice considering what I have coming this weekend

007 First Light will be enhanced for PlayStation 5 Pro, using PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) and having optimized performance, with the game playable at 60 FPS in Quality Mode.

I dont really mind game engine cutscenes instead of videos.
But OH **** no company does quality checks to avoid clipping (at least in the current Dragon Age they provided a hint certian garments might cause clipping) or shadow flickering (like at that scene)

It is 2025 and generative AI is a thing (no matter how much I hate it), here would be a prime case to make use of it for quality improvements (and training the models to do it better).

I guess as 007 is a brand within itself within Amazon MGM there's probably preexisting licensing agreements with Aston Martin and Omega etc.

Triumph as well (the offroad bike with the flamethrower exhaust), and the red car in the chase is a Jag (XKR I think).

Stream on 7 June

Oh i missed this, so there is a livestream showing on friday,,in 26h from now, woohoo hehe, not long to see more.🤞
I re-watched the vid and I'm getting anxious for it.
Just the music pumps me up each time.😁

Never been too big of a Bond fan, but I’m mildly excited, since it’s coming from a Hitman team. I do wish they’d just make more Hitman levels, but I guess beggars can’t be choosers.
