Congrats to Scale and Canu for another Viper one / two.

I tried hard, actually I drove the best I could the whole damn race. I made mistakes, but that was a result of being on the ragged edge lap after lap.

Scale and Canu were just too good. You guys are really fast.

Anyway...I will continue to try, I feel a Corvette victory is just around the corner...stay tuned

Good morning all!

Thanks for a classic race last night guys, it was awesome coming thru the field to pick up a second. I was on the ragged edge the entire race but I lost my grove half way thru and started over driving and burnt my tires. Scale put me under massive pressure and I cracked, so I'm a bit disappointed not to get the win because I had great pace. Well done Scale....... I'll get you next time ;)
I pipped you in the pitstop again Driver otherwise I think I would have struggled to get past cause you were flying as usual..... good drive bud :)
I just gotta say that I was impressed with everyone's pace and driving last night, especially Bubble....... he kept me behind him for almost a lap and was driving brilliantly until he got disconnected. Pity dude, but you're improving quickly!

I know... I had a shocker in the main event at Deep Forest.

We are going to have to lock-out the Vipers at Daytona. :)
 
Homes, do I receive PP bonus still or not since I was disconnected.

Also, keeping CANU and homes behind me was pure LUCK.

Great race on Sunday guys. I had a brilliant race and my best finish yet. I appreciate the practice session with everyone, it helped a lot. I even led a some laps in until you guys caught me. Seemed like the faster guys patiently worked through traffic but I knew I'd get run down. I had to alter my pit strategy because I didn't think I was going to catch Greest as he was about 7 seconds ahead. So I short pitted and then ran my 2 fastest laps after that. I also got lucky in that homes had problems early. Usually the 4th and 5th spot are taken already! It's amazing how you sometime don't see the results of your strategy until the closing laps. Unfortunately I had another race of running all alone. I can't wait until I'm actually chasing guys down.

On to Daytona. I foresee an interesting race with its share of incidents. So tough to keep the car stable in the corners. One slight wrong move and your going to collect 3 or 4 other guys. I feel like this could be anyone's race. Maybe the car that keep all 4 tires on the tarmac will win, maybe not.

I need lots of help please, send me all the info you have at your disposal lol. Never done a NASCAR race and I have no time to practice this week :(

Here's the keys: High top speed (acceleration is far less important), drafting, little downforce, drafting, patience in turns, drafting, ability to foresee how pushing through a turn will end up (usually in disaster, I don't reccomend it), drafting, and holding a line in turns. Oh, and I don't think I mentioned the importance of drafting.
 
I would say knowing when to let off the throttle in the corners is also important. The draft will suck you up to the car in front so quick sometimes. Letting off and coasting to keep control is vital. Bump drafting down the straights is fine but hitting someone going into a turn can end in disaster. The end of the straight is where you be going the fastest but it's not always the best idea to make a move.

Racing hard. No need for softs. You don't need an excessive amount of traction and you can't afford to pit more than you need too. Plus, if you spin, there's a better chance of the tires being salvageable.
 
Can someone please remember to wake me up after lap 5..... I tend to start leaning left which brings on the urge to nod off.

LOL - All the fast guys are going to nod off and all the slower guys are seeing this as their oppourtunity to eventually win so they/I are all going to be wide awake. :lol::lol::lol:
 
Guys, you won't believe my misfortune... I just got a Viper. Why couldn't I win it before this series started!!!???

Well the only A-Spec non-endurance series I had left was the FGT, which I finally felt like doing, and when you win you receive a level 21 ticket which was good for one Team Oreca #51 Viper.

Practice tonight or tommorow??, Canu got some secret tips to give you to make tires last longer etc.. because the vipers will be down on power lol so ill give u a message on psn now and ull recieve it whenever :)
