Why would you want to masturbate in an airplane ,thats why they created an air hostess ........ to keep you satisfied silly. It's her job lol.
Yes I agree Driver, the racing could be more realistic, the passing has become a little hectic, myself included. No offense but I think Scale needs to set the example, being the fastest guy out there and all and being the championship leader. But that goes for all the guys who are faster on the night, we need to be more patient when working our way thru the field and show the guys more respect. At the moment some of the leaders go thru the entire field in one lap, no matter the circuit and that creates a desperate knock on effect with all the leading guys trying to chase. Its impossible to pass 10 guys realistically on one lap and that's what's happening at the moment. Maybe the first lap needs to be policed after every race and check that all the passing is ligit, and start penalizing guys that are bashing there way thru. It's the only way to calm things down at the start. And that goes for everyone, myself included :)
Otherwise we might find we'll keep losing guys that want to race with us because the racing is to rough and reckless. We have already lost a good few guys from the last championship, and that's purely cause they don't want to race with certain people anymore, because their overtaking is to harsh. We need to sort it out and keep it realistic. Just my opinion lol :)

Sir Wilfred...... the lag king lol

OK, I will remind drivers about passing.

Ally, I experienced serious lag behind you on lap 25. lol

Also, I saw a big crash behind me after ou rouge on lap. Was that lag or a real crash?

If you mean lap1 then yes it was a real crash. I came thru ou Rouge behind you and Driver and had way better drive. So to avoid smashing into you guys I swung right, hit the curb and the astro turf and start tank slapping down the straight. Their was so much smoke even I couldn't see where I was lol. My rear tires were shot on lap 1 lol

Homes you didn't hit me ever (If this seems random, it's because it's a response to something homes said a few posts back).

Nope, I never crashed off the track at all. I only had one spin out and that was on lap 3 and then I was overtaken by yourself, canu and driver. But that was about it. Its weird cos I was watching the replay this morning and no one was lagging and I could see everyone clearly....The only person who was lagging( on my screen) was Skeng.

I need to get Telkom to look at my line and figure out how to get rid of some of these latency issues...

It's not always the guy who's lagging that has the problem with his line. For example when Wilfred is in the house then Homes lags real bad for me. When Skeng gets dc then my screen stops jumping around and Scales car becomes less eratic. But I think Scale has a real bad line cause he is always getting dc and always seems to be lagging cause his car is moving from side to permanently, poor Scale always suffers a few dc every season ha haha. I only saw Ally lag a little on the formation lap and then he was fine for me. But like I say it's not always the guy who's lagging who is causing the lag, it's almost like some lines clash when in the same lounge. Another example is Byo always seems to struggle with his connection in Homes lounge but is always fine on Drivers lounge. Weird.... but theirs not really much you can do about it unless everyone in the room upgrades there lines to a good speed ;)

Yeah Canu. Scale is also lagging on my screen aswell. And its true, when Skeng got dc on Sunday, my screen refersh rate went up alot. He was the only one who was lagging on my screen.
But anyway.... Had my line tested and im getting 3.7mbs dl and 1.2 mbs up with ping between 60-70ms which is ok for online gaming... So I dont know why I was lagging so badly on sunday...

Don't worry too much Ally. It's not like you are constantly lagging. I spend a fair bit of the race with you and the only time you lagged was on lap 25.

It was funny. I thought your steering wheel had unplugged from your PS3 because on that off camber right-hand corner you slowly drove stright off and parked in front of the barrier. Then suddenly appeared right in front of me later in the lap, just as I was looking for my braking marker. Just wish you didn't have to pit because we would have had another epic battle!

When I tested my line on " Speedtest.net"
I was getting 8.4mbs dl and my ping was the same as yours. I wonder what speed all the other guys lines are?

LOL. That did happen to me once before when i was doing and endurance race. I accidentally pulled the cable from my PS3 while going down through the carousel on Nurburgring and just came to an abrupt halt. Almost went over the fence there.

Yes it would have been epic. But I had to pit at that lap due to tyre wear and no fuel left....

Last race sucked , I got disconnected , im pretty sure id bring home 2nd or 3rd.

Ive just been too busy recently to put any serious time into this Supra.

The Viper seems overpowered though , I could be wrong but considering the huge lead I had and they easily caught up , I managed a 2 07 2xx in the race but that was with draft , i saw Canu do that time in practice.

See you guys sunday.

The Viper did seem faster at Spa. But, I did do a test with one of my Vipers before the race and my best lap was acually the same as my fatsest lap in my corvette. I suppose I could have gone faster with a better tune though...

I think the Vipers will suffer at the twistier tracks though. All that weight of a nearly 8 liter engine up front, can't be good lol.

I'll give you a nice analysis of the viper

As you can see here on a gt3 viper the engine stops in-line with the centre of wheel hubs and sits low. so any good tune will capitalize on the even spread of weight between front and rear and with aero involved as well because the tourque is good and the power is just as good the engine will pick up and rev well so from a Motorsport point of view its one of the best if not the best cars to run in this series

sorry for double posting but I was talking to homes about doing a historic btcc style race series
tho 1 class wouldnt have cars with more than 150 bhp
heres the real life equivalent of this filmed from my favourite car a hillman imp

so what do you think
by the way the imp has about 120bhp at the flywheel and 80-90 bhp at the wheel

That sounds like fun Will....what cars does GT5 have that we can run? Think I would be keen on this. I love that era of racing, its what I grew up with, so I am all game for this.

Nice suggestion.

R you guys smoking some hash or what? I would rather race my grandmother in a shopping trolley thanks ;) lol

Running around in a dirty old ugly car without TC is like going down to the local pub and shagging the dirty fat ugly chick in the corner without wearing a condom........ its stupid and you don't want anyone seeing you do it ha haha ;)

I will be game for that:tup:

I did enjoy the Lupos more than this series , the racing was closer , the packs were closer.

But variety is the spice of life or so someone said.

The Viper does sound awesome.

I distinctly remember many people voicing their concerns before the season began about how fast the Supra was in pre season testing, and how the Supra would dominate. I think the only person who was concerned about the Viper was Ally. lol
Don't tell me you guys are losing interest after just 3 races...... Scale would probably be wining no matter what he drives, he's just that fast! Everyone had free choice of the car they wanted to run after pre season testing, everyone could have chosen the Viper if they thought it was that fast. Don't give up, I'm sure their will be tracks where the Supras and the Corvettes will be faster!
I'm looking forward to Laguna , it's my second favourite track :)

Yep, I knew the Vipers would be quick and better suited to the longer races. The Supra is quicker over a short lap but in the longer races its too much of a hand full to keep on the straight and narrow. The back is a little bit too loose to get the power down properly out of the corners. You have to run with a higher downforce at the back and adjust the camber and toe angles to prevent rear slip. It needs a lot of setup for each track so in the long run I think the Viper is the more planted car for the longer races...

But anyways, its alot of fun driving the Supra, keeps you on your toes throughout:)

I don't have a Supra so I can't even try it out :( but I must admit I found all the other cars pretty much the same in testing. The Viper sounds so cool though and is quite radical to drive compared to the other cars. It's extremely loose and tough to handle especially when the tyres get worn. But loose is fast and fun! :)

the alfa gta a shelby 350 camaro and jag etype prehaps the mini cooper old shape and substitute possibly as well the old ginetta in some of the 60's small capacity Japanese cars but i was thinking of doing different tyre restrictions for different car classes as the btcc back in the day had 3 classes running in one race i think the best we could do is
1600cc or less and 2.0 litre or more with like sports soft something like that but
PD if your reading this you need to put in a hill man imp
would need a fair bit of testing
the 2002 turb would need restricting as that could be a sub for the bmw 1800
