When should we end this racing series?

No it will be fine as is. If we're signed in and in our room before they start their work, then we stay signed in no problem :) Chill guys
 
I think we will need to start sooner because the maintenance is scheduled to start at 22:00 SA time... We normally just start the feature race then so I think we will have to start earlier...

And if you guys don't want to race tonight then we'll move the race to next Sunday, cause that's the night the guys can race on. Sunday is the chosen day because guys are busy on other days :)

Do you want to risk it? I sure don't.
 
Suppose it's up to Homes. We can carry on as per normal and if we get disconnected then we can just do the race next week, it's not the end of the world. But changing days and times doesnt work, guys are busy and this is the day and time slot chosen which is best for everyone. We may as well try, what else are we gonna do? :)

Well there's a NASCAR race today. If we get disconnected I miss the race for nothing. On the other hand, we wait until next week with no risk of this and no time is wasted.

I suppose I don't really mind what we do though. NASCAR is beginning to bore me.
 
lets try and race as normal guys. If we get disconnected then we treat it as a practice session and just shift the calendar by 1 week...

Still no mention of this on European or SA PSN sites though... Maybe only effecting the US???

I don't know. If it's just the U.S. (which is highly unlikely) what will you do if just us U.S. players are disconnected? And are could at least run the sprint race.
 
Don't worry Bubble. If the US guys are disconnected, we will just turn it into a practice race and retry next week. It is a track in the US after all...

Don't worry about the NASCAR, you can always record it and watch it later if you want. The UK guys miss Top Gear on sunday nights too ;)
 
I had fun with Sassafras. He was way faster but I held him off for a few laps. He ladder me then I screwed up in the pits and he ran away.
 
Yeah it was a good battle bubble. I was faster but had a tough time getting past you cleanly. I was on a different pit strategy also. I tried to ride your ass until you made a mistake. Lol. I did get punted going into turn 3 on lap 2. There is a really good penalty that other series use, its called damage. Not sure why there is no damage in this series but it keeps everyone in check for sure. I don't wanna make a big deal about it but the car in front has the right of way and the car behind needs to brake earlier.

I got punted at the beginning of the second (full speed) lap coming down the hill to the first turn.

I hope that when I blocked you I didn't cause any mistakes on your part. I know I probably should've let you by. I was having so much fun though. Also, I hate the ghosting. You and I were both a lap down at one point and I could've kept you back but we were ghosted and you drove right through. :(
 
It was a great race for me, although only finishing third, I had a great intense drive coming back from last after a brain dead spin on lap one, totally my fault trying and outside pass on Petrol. Tire wear for me was huge, think my camber setting were too great.

Well done to Canu and Scale once again, you guys were very quick and I hope I can close the gap as the series continues.

Well done to everyone else, think we all need to start some private set up sessions to conquer the Vipers....lol

I just wanna thank my team for a great setup haha ha. I could make the tires last for 9 laps if I had to and still run at a great pace. Scale was crazy fast and I just tried to keep him honest without burning my tires. It almost worked in the sprint race, but I made a mistake when I got on his bumper and out braked myself. But the main race I managed to keep him behind me, and I think he made a few mistakes and chewed his tires early. He had to stop 2 laps before me and got caught up on the traffic which put him on the back foot, and then he threw it away with a fat tank slapper which shredded his tires again...... then the race was mine! I just had to keep it on the black stuff to win. I was impressed with everyones pace and it was tough to pass at the beginning. Pity about your mistakes Driver, I think you could have been in the mix. Homes you were flying to dude. So thanks to all for a great race.
Monza rocks, can't wait, but I think this might be a track where the Viper struggles, it's not that fast in a straight line :(
 
My sincerest apologies to my team mate Sass, and Homes, as I must bow out of this series. I've recently obligated myself to a lower back surgery, in a couple weeks, that will probably preclude me from further participation.

It was fun gang! I'd rather race with faster than slower, and that IS what I found here.
