Information/Description
The Eggenberger Sierras were some of, if not THE best, racing tuned Sierras in the Group A era. Donned in their red and black livery with Texaco sponsorship, the RS500s tuned by Swiss ace Rudi Eggenberger monstered the touring car scene in 1987, taking part in the BTCC, WTCC and at Bathurst, where both cars were disqualified at first for illegal fuel, but it was then found the fuel was legal but they had wider wheel arches than the regulations allowed, and were stripped of their Mount Panorama 1-2. To this day, the Texaco Sierra is still one of the most recognised and loved touring cars of all time.
