Woohoo! Finally we get snow!

I was expecting that so I don't care much. My parents have been going up to tahoe for years and it has always been a dream of their to own a cabin. An opportunity arose, they jumped on it, and walah! it's ours.

Keep in mind this isn't some jumbo typical Tahoe HOUSE:tdown: , but rather a cabin:tup: . Seriously though it's like perfect. Also it's about 200 feet away from the UP main line to any train buffs at GTP.

To add to this we arn't the typical family who goes up just in the winter and only about 3-4 times. No we go up every couple of weeks year round. I'll post some pictures of it MAYBE if I ever had the energy, for posting pictures is an excrutiating physical process that I just don't know if I can handle right now.
 
Beautifil pics Event Horizon. Thats the exact same amount of snow we ended up with. 3-4 inches. THen the next day it rained and all of it went away.

But be careful. Extremeties freeze quickly depending on how small they are.

Oddly. In winter the Kaimai's(Moari SP) had snow on them. That is really rare.
 
all you guys talking about snow. here i am in the tampa bay area and it's in the 70's. i still haven't seen any snow and i'm 20.

i don't care though. it's nice wearing shorts and going out to skate.
 
I like snow. I just don't like the cold. It is snowing again, but I wont be able to get anymore good shots, since I have school tomorrow :indiff:
 
If only I didn't live in Wisconsin. We live in the harshest climate in the US. We have the extremes. A freezing cold winter and a really hot summer.
 
ive never seen real snow :(, i live in the sunshine state, no not florida Queensland :cool:
 
Did you see snow for the first time in your life, or this year? We got just over two inches of snow yesterday, and it is lightly snowing tonight.
 
I, unlike alot of Aussies, would prefer to be in 6ft of snow than on a sandy beach. I hate summer, I love Winter. I Australia Winter isn't really cold but It's still better than summer. But European Winter is great :D

I feel the same to a point, I love winter and rain but I wouldnt want to be in 6 foot of snow, I still want to be able to drive.
 
Even a foot of snow is bad for driving in, especially if it is close to zero. Once you get below, like, 20 degrees, salt quits working and the slush turns to ice.

Well not 6 foot literally...But yeah, I love winter and rain, summer heat is death for me.
