wooohoo, got a new kitty!

Well, today, we went to the Human Society of Missouri(our branch, we were at the main one and several of the cats were sneezing, and that's bad...)and after several visits with one little kitty, we adopted him. His name at the Human Society was "Nelson", and we're gonna rename him something...I thought of Cosmo, and my bro agreed...my mom thought of Meowta(like Miata, it was just a joke I think), and my dad just said Drew or Moe(lot of help he is lol....he wasn't too enthused with my Mazda names).

It's 2 months old, and I'm the main care taker of it....

Naw, we can't do that...you see my parents(dad more than my mom) don't want a Mazda related name...Cosmo is a Mazda name, but it's a good name. We will decide tonight when we are all here...

Ohh and as for the kitty, he's got a whole set up in my room, complete with food/water, litter box, hanging string, sleeping quarters, and a window look out. He's actually a really smart kitty...he figured out my set up to get down from the lookout by jumping to a shelf, then a chair, and then the floor. He's also potty trained, he knows where it is, and how to cover over the....ehh...crap lol.

Shayna, my older cat, isn't too happy about the kitty...she's been growling and hissing like she hasn't before(although when we took her to the Humane society yesterday she freaked, and was hissing and making tons of noise), I think she's just a little jealous or something. She'll be fine eventually...
