I beleive we are now in view of the some stretch, 3 races, really starting to test the drivers over the next 3 weeks, El capitan, the nurburgring and an endurance test at Fuji! First off though, El capitan.

Arcade mode / Single race / Original circuits / El capitan / 13 laps.

Running on Sports HARD tyres for this race which should make some of these turns pretty interesting.

Ususal stuff, dont cheat dont eat or drink while driving keep your music down and no swearing:)

Get racing and good luck to you all..(though some of you dont need it)

Famine likes El Capitan...

Hi, Ashley has persuaded me to join for the last 3 races, don't kick my ass to bad please?
Oh don't worry, UDO is only going to mop the floor with you. As they seem to do with the rest of us.

:D

Don't fear this particular UDO driver too much this week - I'm just about to start now so there's not much time for practice.

It's Lady S's fault as she chose to have her birthday this weekend (and I didn't think to get an 'early-doors' dispensation from the Steward to allow me to run before Friday :().

Me too - and as I've just finished the Motegi 8 Hours I'm half-asleep...

Edit: But oh man was that a fun race. Awesome... :D :D :D

It was indeed a fun race, mate 👍.

I had a heart-stopping moment at Turn 1 on Lap 6 when I over-cooked the brakes going in and those yellow Pirelli banners started to get REALLY big before the little voice of my subconscious prodded me with a "Take your foot off the brake, you twit" and that let the back end come round : phew :.

I love how the replay looks so calm from the outside, totally belying all the effort and concentration going on under the surface :D.

Bloody hell, he's beaten me again!

Oops! :O. Sorry mate, I truly didn't expect that this week :smiley for a little bit bemused but pleased anyway and trying not to look too surprised:.

With you being such a fan of El Capitan, I anticipated getting a bit of a thumping this week, especially with such a short lead time for me (it takes me a while to settle in to a car/track combination). The fact that I love the DB9's handling helps massively of course.

Can't wait to see how the finishing grid shapes up anynow 👍.

Time Submitted, wife out of town...no birthdays...I hope!!

Ran twice before realizing I was only getting about 95% acceleration from the DFP.....rebooot..unhook ..spray lubricant...hook back up..100%.
That was worth 2 seconds a lap, but not podium time I'm afraid.
Great fun!!!
