******LEADERBOARD UPDATED******

Track – Swiss Alps, Forward (Section I) AND Backward (Section II)

Rules – Please follow all rules outlined in our initial WRC Thread

Forum – Please feel free to discuss strategies, any and all “T” Times, just no final times.

Time Submission – What I need from you now by Sunday Dec. 4th @ 12:00PM (PST) is a Private Message for Stage III with BOTH Section Times.

Leaderboard – You can find the running Leaderboard at this address:
http://www.luxy.ca/gt4/leaderboards/wrc/
Here is the address to the stage and overall points leaderboard:
http://www.jumpace.com/gt/WRC/LB.htm

Side Dish – This track is wide so take advantage of that in every way you can. The tight chicane is VITAL this week, carry as much speed as you can through it. Unlike last week I need TOTALLY CLEAN RUNS, good luck!

**I just wanted to touch base with everyone on the point system. I have points accumulated 2 ways:
A) Top 5 drivers get up to 5 points (1st 5, 2nd 4 etc) for the fastest sections (forward and reverse)
B) Then for the fastest overall time for that stage I award 25 to 1st place, 24 to 2nd, 23 to 3rd etc.
For the overall leaderboard I just simply add up all your oints from the stages we have run and placed them in order. Sorry fro the confusion.

Gonna do some laps here tonight before MNFootball, I'll start out with my usual order, but this time, this time I'm gonna stop Luxy DEAD in his tracks in my WRC car :sly: or at least die trying, he's been on FIRE in that RS200 👍 way to go dude!

Jerome

Well,I have decided that *Stage 2* was my last race,so bye. Good luck to anyone whi is still running.

Electric, we'll miss you buddy :(

Bring it on!! :trouble:

I think I'll have more trouble keeping ahead of you this week, Jerome, Swiss Alps being such a fast, hp-freindly track. I got some forward runs in late last night ... I'll post some splits soon :)

@Electric....... That's too bad :ouch: We'll miss ya. Good luck in your other series 👍

Oh dear, I'm doomed... How soon until we can switch cars? :scared:

Have a good one Electric!

Jump: Indeed, the starions shall reign superior once again!

Man, I never expected this outcome this week, actually the opposite. Because I know this track inside and out (one of the few..lol) I know PRECISELY where to drive and EXACTLY what my splits should be and I am not hitting my goal, I'm a whole second off my pace this one in my WRC car :grumpy: In a way I am stopping myself to gradually trim time like I do in the wrs, by not being happy with ANY run. I need to let myself find a rhythm here and let it come gradually, need to center myself with some Tai Chi before I continue tomorrow. No splits as of yet.

I wanted to point out, Jetboys is being listed in the wrong Divisions. His GNX is listed in 4WD open and his Acura DNX is being listed in 2WD open.

Welp, the starion has a lot of room for improvement on reverse, but I'm pretty happy with both cars as the starion is finally showing it's colors and the delorean is just as fast as ever. :)

FYI, Jump you need to put Jetboy's cars in the right class. GNX still in 4WD and the Acura is in 2WD.

Here's my splits from the other night's forward session in the RS200 :)

Historic - Forward:
T1: 0'17.658 (have seen 17.5)
T2: 0'38.285
T3: 0'59.746

I'd say there's at least a second left in that (I have a run with an 18.1 T1 and a big thump into the barriers at the chicane that's half a second faster at the line. The last two corners are really hard to get right :p

I haven't tried reverse yet :trouble:

WRC:
Forward:
17.472
37.464
58.374

Reverse: (2nd full lap, this one I trimmed 2.5 off my first lap, but I'll come back to it later)
27.754
49.089
1:09.862

EDIT: LB Updated, but when I entered just your single split there Luke, things went a little weird, so if its okay I'll update it when u post the reverse splits too. 👍 Unless u know how to fix it (which my magic 8 ball is telling me there is a good chance of that ;))

Yup, I'm doomed in historic. I can't even catch Luxy with all the extra horsepower I have!

Freaking hell I'm off the pace :scared:

Anyone have any hints and tips regarding setup?

Anyone have any hints and tips......?
Yeah, don't run any more laps so I can beat you! :p

Historic
Stage 1: 18.986 - 40.640 - 1'02.619

Stage 2: 28.915 - 30.957 - 1'11.955

Nat, I'd post my setup but I don't think it will help much because our cars (or SUVs) are very different. All I can say is go soft on the suspension, LSD at the lowest settings and more front brake bias then rear.

Yeah, I haven't altered anything yet - LSD or otherwise - simply because I don't know what the 'rules' are when rallying :p I'll start by dropping the LSD though, thanks!

Rules are:

Rule #1 - Anything clean and under hp limit is legal
Rule #2 - See rule #1 :)

I just need more "cowbell" and I'll have a fair chance against beating that darn RS200! ;)
