Ok, I have an idea for a team based racing series and I was wondering if anyone else would be interest in helping me get it started. There would be 12 drivers (myself included) split into 3 teams, one for American cars, one for European cars, and one for Japanese cars. (Cars for each team are listed below). All cars would be stock and limited to sports soft tires. It would be a 6 to 8 race series and prizes would be awarded to the drivers on the team with the highest average finish, as well as the highest ranked individual driver. Right now I'm thinking about running the races on Saturday nights at 9pm EST/8 pm CST, but I'm pretty flexible if anyone else has other suggestions. Post a reply if you might be interested.

Cars will be chosen on a first-come-first-served basis, so reply quick if you want your first pick of cars

This is a good idea 👍 American drivers only allowed in American cars and so on?
 
That would be cool, but I don't know if we could get enough people from each region. I think I'll just leave it open for whoever wants to drive each car.
 
Your series gave me an idea that each country has a team with a car from that country.
Ex: Japan all Japanese drivers and they would use a GT-R.
 
Well the idea is to have different cars from each region to really mix the competition up since different cars have different strengths and weaknesses, so my idea is that each driver would select a different car from the ones listed above

I like this idea.

So if I choose American team, would I be able to choose any American car each week or do I have to stick to just one?
 
My idea is that you pick one car to run the whole series with. Drivers on the same team can switch cars if they want, but there can't be more than one of the same car in any given race, and drivers cannot switch teams once the series starts

I like that. Otherwise it would be: M3 vs NSX vs SS.

Have you done any testing with these cars? As far as PP, lap times, etc.

Anyways, if you do this, count me in. (USA). Saturdays for me are a hit & miss though.
 
Trial runs are the next thing on my agenda, I'll let you know how that turns out
 
Ok, I'm thinking about moving the series to Thursday nights (9 pm Est/8 pm Cst). Would that work for people? If possible I wan't to have a practice race (not for points yet) to help sort out what cars to use next Thursday. Any takers?

Maybe a Vantage V12, 458. More when i think about it
 
I think the European team is strong enough, if you're ok with the NSX I think you should just drive that.
