Yeah the racing was great on sunday, lots of action, stupid move by Melandri, cost Leon, BMW, 1 2 victory. Im sure the team boss will have something to say and maybe Leon to.

Good racing for all the British riders, good win for Sam Lowes:gtpflag:

North West 200 this Saturday, if anyone hasn't seen this tune in to look for the programes that start on BBC Northern Ireland TV Thursday Friday.

Live Racing Saturday.

It's almost that time of year again... Isle of Man TT:drool:

Yes starts shortly, NW200 was great, slip steaming 3 abreast, 200mph, can't beat it:tup:

Can anyone remember the name of the song being played in the background when British Eurosport showed an onboard lap of Monza with James Hayden doing some running commentary? I'm pretty sure it has been used in adverts but can't remember which ones.

On SPEED Channel, I just saw the final laps of Race 1 of the Silverstone round. Man! That was crazy! Congratulations to the winners of both Silverstone races.

Agree with you on that one John.....just a awesome race more lead changes than laps, Haslam having it in the bag with 4 to go. Then Baz coming through, Rae going off track a few times then coming fourth (on his butt might I add)

I needed some heart pills after that one
I am becoming a bigger Loris Baz fan by the race, he is immensely talented and a perfect replacement for the unlucky Johan Lascorz.

I didn't see any of race 2, but race 1 was incredible. Baz winning, Biaggi crashing on the final lap. Would have liked to have seen Melandri get on the podium though.

I saw part of Race 2, bloody exciting...

The second WSBK race at Moscow Raceway is on right now on SPEED Channel. Good-looking circuit. Congratulations to the winners from the round in Moscow.

Biaggi really shot himself in the foot there! I do think if Melandri wins the title the director will go in to girlfriend viewing overdrive! She is hot but my word it is a bit much.

I would think Aprilla would try to sign Melandri next season so they could have an all Italian team. It seems more do-able than Ducutis efforts in MotoGp!

I saw the end of the 2nd race at Nürburgring. I may not be sure, but I think I heard Suzuki picked up their first podium finish of the season. I probably find it sad that the Japanese makers aren't atop the standings. The Japanese makes (all three of them) all brought up the rear in the manufacturers' standings heading into the Nürburgring races. BMW was leading the manufacturers' standings heading into these two rounds of the championship.

Congratulations to the winners of the respective races.

Superbikes are closely based on their road counterparts, motogp bikes are prototypes and are worth millions. Motogp is more prestigious.

Cant believe Max & Marco met the dirt. At least Max was able to get back up again.
Hawkeye a few of the differences are about 20 to 30 degrees more lean angle, with F1 stopping power!
''Can anyone say 50 meter board?''

Melandri joining Biaggi at Aprilla? No chance of that! Anyway Melandri stays with BMW alongside Chaz. Hopefully Eugene Laverty gets another shot on the Aprilla.

Very close race!
Congratz to Max Biaggi who won the championship with 0,5 points 2nd is Sykes and third Melandri looking forward to next year!

Max Biaggi announces his retirement
Multiple world champion Max Biaggi has announced his retirement from the motorcycle racing in a press conference at Italian circuit Vallelunga.
After speculation over his future, the 41-year-old has elected to hang up his helmet, resisting the urge to continue in Superbikes or switch to MotoGP.

Massive shock here too, happy that Sylvain is in the line for his ride.

Guintoli? He's going to join Checa on the panigale.

Has that been confirmed though? Guintoli has been strongly tipped to take Biaggi's place should he have retired.

Turns out they were rumours. We've narrowed it down to 2 potential rides. Hopefully Alex Lowes can have the other :)

So I was wrong. Badovini will be on the Ducati with Checa so Guintoli for Aprilia. Or maybe he will agree a deal and then tell them he's going elsewhere like he did to Suzuki :p

Told you so. :p

I'm seriously so far behind. I've only just found out, Chaz Davies has joined Melandri at BMW Motorrad next year. :dunce:
