Hello guys. After noticing half of all online races are either SSR7 drags, Tsukuba drifts, or Honda only races, I've finally come up with a racing league. The WWRS, or Worldwide Racing Series, is an attempt to make a racing league which involves GTP members from across the globe. Up to 14 racers can join this league, with teams depending on nationality (they also have to choose a car from their nation). Races will be every Thursday, 8:00PM eastern U.S. time. The rules are stated below.

RULES
Breaking any of the following will lead to a warning, the second time will result in immediate D.Q. from race.
1. No swearing or adult humor will be tolerated.
2. No intentional crashing, to provide proper racing.
3. No driving over shortcuts or abusing glitches.
4. No overtaking the pace car during cautions or pace laps.
5. No qualification. You start where you start, no exceptions.
6. Cautions start when 2 or more cars crash.
7. 600hp limit.
8. Headsets are reccommended, although not needed.

Circuit De La Sarthe. 34 laps.
London. 95 laps.
Fuji Speedway F. 65 laps.
Monza. 76 laps.
Suzuka Circuit. 55 laps.
Nurburgring GP/D. 85 laps.
Top Gear Test Track. 100 laps.
Daytona Oval. 90 laps.
Nurburgring 4 hours. 20 laps.

I will be at every race watching over the racers, to enforce rules, so maybe you'll get lucky, but somebody has to tell me if they knew a rule was broken.

*from a country outside of an eligible nation, but is put into team closest to home country.

Ok. I guess you'll be considered "Japanese" as there are no other asian teams, so welcome aboard.
 
I'd be interested if I could be in the Japanese team. I'm Asian, from TX, but live in the UK. I won't drive a British car though.

MORE RULES.

10. Winner of race gets prize car, not duplicates for winning team.
11. Team points are overall standings, not driver points.
12. Team points are accumulated by points of drivers on their team. Although this means U.S./Japan have an advantage, Anything can happen.
13. If you don't arrive before 8:00 Eastern time, the race starts without you.
14. There will be a pace lap at the very beginning of the race. Drivers must stay single file and at a maximum of 80 mph.
15. The winning team of the season gets duplicate prize cars of 500,000 credits to 1,000,000 credits.

You are welcome. However, you must use a British car in order to enter. Just wanted to point that out since you're from the U.K.

Sorry. I just noticed a previous post was a Pace Car request. You can still join a European team if you like. (If Helsinki is from Europe of course...)

Sorry dude, but RX8 is Japanese and of course, I don't want to screw stuff up. There are still some good British cars out there. Try to find a British car, and you're in. ;)

Check the schedule. ;) Eastern time U.S. at 8:00 PM though.

LAST RULES.

16. One race per-night. Future seasons will have "Heat Races" as qualification rounds.
17. All aids exept for TCS will be turned off.
18. Free tuning is allowed. However, cars cannot be tuned to be 220 mph or more.
19. Finally, racers MUST use the same car the whole season.
 
11 Days until Daytona. Sign up's are always open until all spots are taken up. Better start practicing.

ESTIMATED RACE LENGTHS.
Daytona Infield. 130 minutes.
Circuit De La Sarthe. 170 minutes.
London. 105 minutes.
Fuji F. 130 minutes.
Monza. 140 minutes.
Suzuka. 130 minutes.
Nurburgring GP/D. 120 minutes.
Top Gear. 160 minutes.
Daytona Oval. 110 minutes.
Nurburgring 4h. 190 minutes.

All of these I tested without pit-stops. That's why I added minutes to the race times.
 
Tire Restrictions?
 
No tire restrictions or weight restrictions, but as said there is a hp and mph limit.
 
The club/fan group is open now. Join it if possible.
 
cant wait let me know for sure before or on race day if im official pace car and what my responsibilities are... maybe this is my foot in the door for bigger and better things. clue me in on how i can be more active with you guys...
